Chapter-13
Rishi join Diwan finance and starts his work. Though he hates Sameer for what he did, but he knows he is also to be blamed what he did to Indira and Vidith. Rishi starts talking occasionally with Sameer and his mother Simi, till now he never went to Diwan mansion but sometimes takes advice of Sameer in business and promises Simi to visit mansion when he has time or mood.
Next day Indira gets ready to go to sameer's house. She checks her purse and finds kajal and remembers Naina. Take the kajal in her hand thinking whether to apply or not. She keeps the kajal back on purse and starts to move suddenly remembers Naina's words "kajal suits you alot, you have very expressive eyes. Why are you trying to hide them. Just highlight with kajal and see the magic". Indira thinks why cannot I try little thinks like other girls, with a sigh she remove the kajal and applies neatly how Naina taught her. Naina was right it highlights Indira's beauitful eyes even more. Satisfied with her effect Indira goes to bus stop. She is little early then every day, goes directly to sameer's room. Till now Indira never came across simi diwan in the diwan mansion, donot know where she stays. Indira never wandered in the mansion - sameer's room and kitchen is the areas she still covered, never showed interest nor the situation occurred.
Indira went to Sameer's room and sees him still sleeping. As her duty she goes near sameer to wake him up. Now the million dollar question how?
"Last time I used the alarm to wake him.. shall I use again" talking to herself she takes the alarm into her hand, before she could turn on the alarm it starts ringing and with sudden vibration Indira gets afraid and throws the alarm on the head of sameer with a bang. Indira claps her hands on her mouth looking horrified. Sameer gets up with a big scream and sits on the bed keeping his hand on his head. When he looks at Indira gets more angry goes and stands infront of her and shouts "marna ka erada hain kyaa". Indira swallows a lump and slowly removes her hand from her mouth and says "oh galthi sa gir gaya" and comes back to hitler mood and shouts back at Sameer "bada punctual kaha tha ho aur time per vutna be hain jantho ho, you are thee I mean 3 mins late". Indira observed that sameer is not reacting and observes that he is staring at her; his face is not showing any emotions to identify what he is thinking. Suddenly she thinking 'did she hit him at wrong place on head', she slowly gets panic but hides her expression from him. Sameer slowly raises his finger and asks "you applied kajal". Indira is like 'what'. Seeing Indira's expression sameer realizes what he has said; it is too late to take back the words now. With a horrified expression starts stammering "I did not like your eyes..oh your kajal is oo more aaa irritating"Indira folders her hands in hitler style says "I did not asked for your opinion". Sameer "ya I know as a boss it is my duty to tell what is wrong and what is right in an employee". Indira gives him a disbelieved expression. Sameer mind shouts 'stop it sameer, you made enough fool of yourself for today, not get out from here donot embarrass yourself more'. As a robot sameer runs from there to bathroom and slams the door. Looking at the different expressions of Sameer Indira gets confused "pehla hi name main diwan hain and now he is really behaving as pagal". As she turns see her reflect in the mirror. She goes near the mirror and checks her eyes. "Kajal tho tekk hain naa then why Sameer is saying-" Indira's mind shouts ' are you gone mad, from when you started taking other peoples opinion seriously. Mainly that Sameer's '. Indira catches her head and goes from there to kitchen to arrange sameer's breakfast. Sameer goes to gym and starts punching the bag with so much angry on himself and on Indira, and stops when his hands almost start bleeding. "why he behaves so weird infront of Indira, he started observing small small things of her. He should keep his tongue under his control". He takes a bath and gets ready for the office. Indira enters with tray of breakfast for Sameer. Before Sameer could reach his breakfast phone starts ringing. He goes and lifts the phone. Sameer "hello", Rishi "hey sam, getting ready for office". Sameer immediately watches Indira as if she can recognize Rishi's voice from phone but to his relief she is at little distance from phone busy with her work. Sameer decreases the volume of the phone and says "hain yaar bolo" Rishi "I have a lot of doubts in these finance projects sam. You know these money matters and all mera demaga ma nahin gusthe, seede sarka vupar se chale jathe hain. So I need your help. I will meet you at your office @ 1 PM, we can have lunch and also we can discuss my problems… what say". Sameer hesitate for second "ok, fine we will meet @ 1 PM at my office". Rishi hangs the phone and looks at the files infront of him "ye Sameer ethena project ek sath kaise manage kartha hain aaj thaak muja samjme nahin ayaa. Makaan malkinji aapka leya kya kya karna pad raha hain. Chalo kaampe lagja Rishi, you need to do a lot work."Sameer hangs the phone and says "yee client ka call thaa" and turns to get his tie. Indira "I did not ask". Sameer stops on his track and closes his eyes with frustration. Sameer's mind "why are you giving explanation as if you did some chori if again you open your mouth I will kick your ass". Leaving a big sigh he goes to get his tie and get ready for the office. While doing breakfast he thinks 'how to meet Ricky in my office in front of Indira. If Ricky comes to know that Indira works for me then sure he will create a scene and don't know what will happen next.' He gets an idea and intentionally keeps a file under his pillow and starts for office.
Chapter-14
Indira starts her work at office, though she is PA for namesake of Sameer. She does all under qualified and qualified works from supplying coffee to Sameer, arrangement meeting rooms, Xerox work, maintaining his schedule and thought it is not a job of PA she prepares budget plan for his project, does proof reading of his project prints etc., you can say Sameer is making her work for 3 to 4 people at office and gives one person salary. "Kanjoos" muttering under her breath starts her work. Sameer comes to office and he overheard her and thinks 'jithna be work doo perbi mujhe galle danakaleya time rahata hain Hitler kahi ki. Now I need to send her from here around 1 PM and should make sure that she will not return till Rishi leaves from office'. He clears his throat and starts acting as if he is searching his file. Indira notices that about to ask what he is searching but thinks 'mujhe search party nahin banne, let him search'. After few minutes he turns towards Indira and says "Indira I think I forgot Mr. Batra and group file at home. Can you go and get me the file it is very important". Indira gives him an annoy look and uninterestedly says "yes sir" and starts to get up from her chair. Immediately Sameer says "Nooo" Indira stops on her track and stares at him. Sameer clears his throat and says "not now go @ lunch time. I don't like wasting time". Indira gives him a frustration look "then when will I have my lunch" Sameer "oh no problem take your own time have your lunch at my house and bring the file for me". Indira thinks 'kahee alarm girna ki reason se brain damage tho nahin huva eska, lunch @ his house' and says "no thanks I bought my food". Sameer gets irrigated "harr bhaat per behas karna jarure hain kya, cannot you take my small reque-"immediately corrects"order and do what I say." Indira couldnot understand what happened to Sameer today. She says "fine, I will leave @ 1.30 PM". Sameer says "No, you will go @ 12.30 PM and no more arguments". Indira gets irritated at his bossiness and gets back to her work. Sameer couldnot concentrate on work, he checks his time and it is aboutto 12.30 PM but still Indira is immensed in her work if he forces Indira to go she will sure get doubt on his behavior. Then how to send her out. Sameer gets an idea, lifts his phone and acts as if he is talking on phone loudly so that Indira can listen "yes Mr. Batra, your project is ready sure I will come to you with all details as soon as possible". Indira thinks 'why Sameer is doing over action today, I understand may be Mr. Batra called to know about the updates then why he is shouting on the high pitch. I am just opposite him. It looks like he wants to tell to entire diwan office that he needs Mr. Batra's file' and Indira goes out silently giving a nod to Sameer that she is going to the mansion. Sameer keeps the phone on his ear and sees if Indira went or not. Suddenly the phone rings loudly in his ears makes him drop the phone and catch his ears. Cursing Indira and the phone, he took the phone into his hand "Hai Ricky, I am waiting now you can come" Rishi "now you can come what is that mean?" Sameer stammers "I I mean I am free now you can come" Rishi "oh ok ok I will be there in half an hour bye sam". Sameer "bye".
Indira stops at the bus stand, she couldnot get any bus till half an hour. She missed Rishi's car going towards Diwan builders. When bus comes Indira slowly gets into the bus. Suddenly Rishi sees Indira in his rear window and stops the car and looks back but couldnot find anyone. Thinks 'Ricky now you started imagining Indira in the day also. By the way what will she do here at this time. She will be working in her new office. She is very dedicated employee not like me who is roaming on road at office time'laughing on his own joke Rishi starts his car and goes to sameer's office. Rishi enter the office flirting with the receptionist and other women employees while going to sameer's room. Sameer sees Rishi and thinks with a smile "he will never change, once a flirt is always a flirt. Patha nahin ladikya kya takte hain isme"and suddenly remembers Indira and stops smiling "even girls like Indira". He sighs and opens the door and calls Rishi to come inside. Rishi takes his seat opposite Sameer and gives him the files. Sameer checks all the files and starts explaining the projects. Rishi very seriously starts noting the points. Sameer observes Rishi for some time and thinks 'he was never serious even in his studies but now he is taking notes so interestingly. Hope this change is permanent not temporary as his other interests'.
Indira reaches Diwan mansion and enters the house. Simi stands in the middle of living room and start shouting on phone. Indira thinks irritatedly "sameer might have got all the habits from his mother. Both talks so loud on phone lag tha hain jaise phone or the ear of other person will blast at any moment". Noding her head she starts walking towards sameer's room. Simi sees Indira and gets shocked. Simi donot know that Indira is working for sameer. She never showed interest in business and employees and sameer did not fine time to inform his mother about Indira. So simi thinks Indira came to meet Ricky. Simi says "yaye ladiki ma beta gar par nahin hain, javo yahase"and mutters under her breath "ek tho mare beta pa jadoo karde aur aab mera ghar par kya kar rahin hain". Indira makes a fist and controlling her angry says "I know that is the reason I came here". Indira thinks simi is talking about Sameer. Simi couldnot understand what Indira means but without leaving her attitude says "I will just call my son wait."she calls at sameer office number. Rishi picks the phone "hello"Simi "beta yee ladike jabardasti hamare ghar me guss aye hain" Rishi "kyonsi ladike mom" Sameer immediately takes the phone and Rishi's hand. Simi "vahi Indira Sharma" turns and sees that Indira already leaves to sameer's room. Sameer "mom I will talk with you later" Simi "but beta" Sameer cuts in between "mom I will call you later you just ignore everything and go for your kitty party. I said naa I will handle trust me" Simi gives a small smile "I trust you beta I am sure you can take care of that Hilter, by the way Ricky thana jo muchse pehle baat keya tha" Sameer "yes mom, mujse project disucss karne aya hain." Simi "jara phone dena I will talk with him" Sameer passes on the phone to Rishi "hey mom how are you" Simi "I am fine beta but kya huvva tum ko please come to the house. I really miss you. Sure mom I will come this week end to meet you" Simi gives a satisfactory smile "good beta now I am going out I need to attend the kitty party but this weekend I will keep all my schedule free only for by son" Rishi laughs thinking 'typical high society mom, apna beta kaliye apna schedule free rakage' and hangs the phone. Meanwhile Indira goes to Sameer's room and tries to find the file in his study. She reaches everywhere but couldnot find it. Indira thinks may be file is in office and calls at sameers desk number but it goes engage. So thinks to dial sameers number but remembers she did not have sameers number. She gets irritated and tries the office number again, but still it goes engage. Then Indira tries to call the receptionist but no one attends the call as it is lunch time. At the end Indira calls Radhe and takes sameers number and dials him. As soon as Rishi keeps the phone, sameer's mobile starts ringing. Rishi "kya timing hain sam. I cut one phone and now your mobile started ringing. If the phones continue like that then aaj tho mera case study gaye kamse". Sameer gives him a smile and looks at the caller. He has Indira's number so immediately gets alter and picks the phone. Indira "Sir I searched everywhere but I couldnot find the file. I am coming to office I will search in the office may be it is on mine or yours desk" Sameer panics "No no I am sure it is at house, search properly". Indira "I searched your whole study room but couldnot find the file". Sameer remembers he kept the file under his pillow, if he says it is under pillow then Indira takes the file and comes back.. what to do now? Sameer says "I think because of hungry you are not able to search properly go have your lunch first and then search ok". Indira gives a look at her phone thinking 'aaj esee mare lunch ki ethna phikar kyu ho raha hai, chalo chodo he is also right.. I am really feeling hungry'"ok Sir". She kepts the call and goes out to have her lunch. Though sameer said to have lunch at his house still Indira does not want to eat at diwan mansion. Rishi "sam even I am hungry can we go for lunch we will discuss more on lunch". Sameer says "ok, let's go".
