Chapter-11

Sameer gets up before 6 AM to keep an eye on Indira but to his bad luck and Indira's good luck she comes on time and does her duty very carefully without giving sameer a chance to raise his voice. Annoyingly sameer goes to office and sees his thinks in order. Just one day and Indira completely adjusted herself at his house and office. In a way to say taking full control on his day to day life. This is not what sameer wants. He tried to make her work as his maid by making her clean his room, arrange his food and even tried to give her hard works at office but he could only able to give her some physical strain but Indira never gave a chance to point out her. He is impressed but donot want to accept the fact. Now he thought of using the Indira's weakness, she is a fashion disaster. She donot know how to look like a girl and how to carry her-self in this sophisticate society. So he can make her do all the things which make her uncomfortable will easily make Indira to commit mistakes. He is eagerly to start his plan and seriously hope the plan wonot back fire him. As usual Indira enter his room @ 6 AM and after her work at home, she reached the office by 9 AM. Sameer is early today, Indira feels today sure she will get earful, thought she is on time but sameer came before time and he expects her to fly and come to office before him. 'Kadoos kahika' thoughts Indira. Sameer suddenly turns and says "did you say something?" as if he read her mind. Indira simply nod her head as no, goes and sits at her desk. Sameer 'let's start' he says to himself and calls Indira. She goes near to his desk with her book and pen. Sameer "today we need to attend a party, so wear something girly not like Hitler" look her from top to bottom" and be ready by 6 PM, got that". Indira "By 6 PM, but sir I need to go to my house and get ready-". sameer cuts Indira "I donot want how you will do, I just want the task to complete. The remaining things are your headache". With a small grin goes from his cabin. Indira checks her dress "whats wrong in this dress, he want me to look girly" She confusingly looks into the mirror"What does he means?". Indira "let it be I have time till evening right I will sort it out something". She is busy with her work she forgots the time. To her luck Sameer is busy on project which Indira sorted out, the project is going to start today. It is 4.30 PM when Indira completes her work and suddenly she remembers about party. Indira "oh I really forgot about the party, if I go home I can get Mandira's help to get ready but it will take2 to 3 hours for me in to and fro journey. What to do? And moreover I never attended the parties, I use to escape any party happened in my previous office". Indira goes to coffee machine to have some coffee as she couldnot get any idea what to do about the party thing. Suddenly she overhead two employees taking about some sale nearby. Indira "Sale, I am sure prices will be less I can effort a new dress and can get ready on time." She starts moving towards entrance and stops on track thinking 'girly thing ka kya karee' mm ignore it Indira'. She goes to the near boutique where the sale is going on and gets some decent suit in her budget. Satisfied with her shopping she goes to office. She buys a kajal and lipstick on the way but how to apply. Whenever she tried to apply it was a disaster. She gets ready and sits on her chair with kajal and lipstick in her hand. She sees the receptionist with loads of loads of makeup, Indira "sure thing that girl knows how to apply all this, I will take her help". Indira goes to receptionist and feeling very uncomfortable asks her to help. The girl gives a look as if she is doing a big maharbani on Indira comes to her cabin to help applying kajal and lipstick. Indira get irritated and asks her to get out. Indira "No need to apply; go as you look". Indira starts waiting for sameer. Office boy comes and gives the address of venue and says sameer sir will meet her there. Indira mutters 'idiot' under her breath and goes towards the bus stop. As soon as she reaches the venue, Indira feels completely underdressed. The party is in a regular five star hotel which Indira used to visit during her old office days. So Indira is not uncomfortable looking at the party arrangements but the party is in retro style and people came in different styles. Some are looking weird. Indira now clearly understands why sameer asked her to accompany him to the party, to show her that she does not belongs to this society. But sameer till now did not understand one thing that Indira never thought of becoming a part of this hi-fi society, she want to marry Rishi because he is the only one person who crossed her wall around her heart and did friendship with her. Indira though this is not the time to remember past things, with a big sigh she enters the party.

As Indira expected the party is on full swing people with colorful and shot dress with heavy make. Sameer talking with some group of girls in which Tina is clenching to sameer to his irritation, but he took the risk of Tina to get back on Indira and this time he expected some results. Sameer eye went on Indira as soon as she entered the party, as he expected she is really looking odd one out. Sameer kept his hand around Tina's waist looking towards Indira. Taking the advantage of the situation Tina clenched even more to sameer. Indira glared at sameer as if she is ordering him to remove his hand and sameer obediently removed the hand. This small gesture of sameer and Indira went unnoticed by themselves. Sameer didnot even realized that he left Tina obeying Indira's look and Indira didnot realized that she warned Sameer with her eyes. Tina who was so excited when sameer kept his hand on her waist disappointment when he removed his hand, she observed where sameer is looking at. She noticed Indira going to a corner of the room to stand. Tina thought of having fun with small town girl. Takes her friends and went to Indira. Sameer is impressed, without his need to invole the scene is going to be unfolding as he wants. He ordered for a drink, sitting back on his chair to enjoy the scene.Tina went with her gang of girls near to Indira and asked "who are you and who gave you the permission to come into the party". The other girl says "gate passers!!! and what the security is doing outside". Indira gets angry "Look I came here to represent Diwan builders and I donot need to give more explanation to you people so mind your own business". Tina "Diwan builders, avokatha hain Diwan builders ko represent karrnaka..look at your dress looking like chandini chowk me koi cheap shop ma chori karke pehanki ayeho and you feel as if you are the owner of Diwan builders". All her friends laugh on Indira. Folding her hands in Hitler style Indira says "atleast I have wearied some dress from chandini chowk but you forgot even wearing some dress. ayesa lagraha hai tum na poora kapda pahena boolgai". Sameer who is drinking almost chokes his drink coughing badly. Tina's face is worth to watch. She starts stammering "howw daare you, thiss is my 80's retro style". "Then this is my 40's retro style of dressing, any problem". Tina tries to answer her back but her friend's stops her saying "let it be chote logon ki muh nahin lagan". Indira makes a fist to almost punch the girl but with the interference of DJ and suddenly a lot of people comes to the dance floor helps the girls to escape.With irritating expression Indira goes out in search of ladies rooms. Sameer want to laugh like anything on Tina and her friends. Suddenly he realizes that he is enjoying the victory of Hitler indirectly on him. sameer "this is too bad sameer what are you thinking, you have to be more angry on Indira for making your another plan back firing." Sameer takes his last drink and leave the party without looking or waiting for Indira.

Chapter-12

Indira goes to ladies room and tries to gather herself, controlling her anger. Suddenly some taps her shoulder; irritatingly Indira turns and find a beautiful girl of her late teenage. Indira observes her uniform and identifies as some staff in the hotel. Looking at smiling face of the girl Indira cools down a little.Girl "Hi, my name is Naina. I am from the organizing staff of this hotel. I saw the scene between you and Tina". Indira gives her a confused look, Naina continues "the girl with whom you are talking her name is Tina."'Tina' the name clicks Indira 'oh she is the girlfriend of sameer with whom he is talking on phone, so all this insulting plan is made by the gr8 sameer'. Seeing Indira in deep thought Naina taps her hand and continues "after seeing the scene I became your fan. My name is Naina and yours"Indira stammers "aaa I am Indira"keeps her hand on her head as she is still thinking about sameer. Naina looks really talkative girl, Indira came out of her thoughts and says "I was thinking something anyway I think I should leave now, bye". Naian is not in a mood to leave Indira, she continues "in such parties where people comes with heavy makes up, heavy and short dresses your stayed different in all. I really liked your retro dress, you said 40 & 50's dress right"Indira tries to convince Naina that she is not interested in her conversation but Naina is least bothered and continues "tum tho bahot simple ho, you have a very good expressive eyes and long hair. Why donot you apply kajal and leave your hair open?" Indira remembers the receptionist whom she asked for help in the office, taking a deep breath she says "I tried but muja kajal lagana nahin atha"Naina "then I will teach you, see this is not a big deal. Do you have kajal now with you in your bag". Indira tries to stop naina "actually naina-"but without giving Indira much time naina starts removing Indira's bag from shoulder and forcing her to give the kajal. Indira thinks 'kaha phasgage main'reluctantly Indira gives the kajal, while removing kajal from bag lipstick comes out. Naina take the lipstick in her hand and says "nice color, it really suits you. I think you really know very well about yourself"Indira gives her a 'what'look because till now she thought she donot know anything about these selections but here a stranger is giving her compliments on her selection of fashion. Indira thinks 'either this girl is mad or this girl is drunk'. indira goes near to naina to smell alcohol. Naina turns and says "smelling my perform, acha hain naa my boyfriend gifted"Indira says uneasily "ok".

Naina "ab chalo I will teach you how to apply kajal and lipstick"Indira tries to stop naina "ek minute ek minute, I am not interested in applying anything so please leave me I want to go".Naina is in no mood to leave Indira "it's ok Indira, it will take just 5 minutes for me to teach you."and without Indira's interest Naina starts teaching Indira how to wear kajal and lipstick neatly. First reluctants Indira watches naina but slowly gains her interest and learning the different ways of applying kajal and lipstick. Without Indira's knowledge she is learning little make up from last half an hour standing infront of wash room mirror. Indira though 'not bad it is very simple then why mandira or the receptionist created that much scene to teach me'She heart fully thanks naina, saying good bye naina goes back to the party. Indira searches for Sameer but couldnot find him. She get angry once again comes out of the party. She starts walking towards hotel main entrance then suddenly a car comes and stops beside her. Indira turns and looks the driver and get a mild shock. It is Rishi, comes out of the car and offers Indira lift. Indira "Mr. ricky diwna yaha scene create karna ki jarurath nahin hai, just get lost"but Rishi "Indira why have to left your old job. I went to your office but your boss said you left the office without properly informing him. Where are you working now? I really care for you"Indira "care karna kaliya thank you but I can take care of myself". Indirda observes that people started coming out of party mainly the Tina and gang.Indira does not want to create scene, goes and sits on passenger seat of Rishi's car. Feeling happy Rishi goes and sits on driver seat and starts driving. As soon as they come out the hotel Indira asks Rishi to stop the car. Rishi "makaan malkinji I will drop you at your house, it is too late night"Indira "it is just 9 PM and if you forgot I work even late some times, so leave worrying and stop the car"Indira thinks 'one brother who wonot even care for a girl and the other care overly about a girl, do Diwan mare he pecha padga'. As soon as Rishi stops the car Indira gets out of the car and goes to bus stop. Rishi stops the car and goes beside Indira. Rishi tries to give his regular smile saying sorry with his puppy eyes, which now is not at all affecting Indira. Whenever she sees Rishi she remembers Vidith and his condition in hospital. As soon as bus arrives Indira gets into the bus without even glancing once back to Rishi. Disappointed Rishi tries to get into the bus but someone horns beside his car, as he parked his car inappropriately. Reluctantly Rishi leaves the bus and goes back to his car with a determination to get Indira back with the help of Vidith.

Indira goes directly to hospital to meet doctor to know the condition of Vidith. Doctor "As I said you can take Vidith to your house because his body is responding perfectly, he donot need more supportive system for his body functioning. May be it will take some time for him to recover completely but you have to take care of him like a baby from atleast one month."Indira thinks 'if i take Vidith bhaya now who will take care of him, can I depend on my family... no no i cannot depend on my family blindly taking care of vidith bhaya. it will be better if I am admit him in this hospital so that he will be under observation of doctor and nurses, for one month i can aford hospital room rent because still I have the savings I got from pappu chadha's sister marriage.'Indira "doctor I want to keep vidith bhaya under you observation for next one month, can you please do the needfull". doctor "all right, please fill the details and pay the advance we will take care". As soon as doctor enter his cabin he receives a call "hello Mr. Diwan, yes Vidith is fine. Indira want to keep him some more days in the hospital. yes yes their is alot more improvement in his health now. Sure I will inform if anything drastic happens. Good night Mr. Diwan". As soon as doctor cuts the call Indira enter the cabin "doctor I have paid the advance and please take care of my brother. donot hesitate to call me if you want to discuss with me about my brother". Doctor "sure, we will take care of Vidith, you donot worry".
