To keep so much poison against one's own parents. In that case how Sameer was not affected? I think Rishi must have lied lot and got punishment. He seems to be a habitual lier.

Rishi's character is defective. And slighly negative.

Just to win Indu's heart, he said so many negative things about his parents and tried to show himself as the wronged. This is quite repulsive.

Well I don't think so... after watching yday's epi... I think he was forced to lie... his parents wanted to make him like they wanted but he wanted something else... they never cared for his feelings ... all they cared about their reputation... so he attempted to go away many times (as per sam-rishi's mandir talks) ... we can also see that he becomes friendly with almost everyone... first with radhy, amma, ishaan... list is very long... the thing is he doesn't want to be a rich businessman but a good human being...a simple one...

He should not have said negative things about his parents. He could have simply told that he had differnces with his parents and thus was trying to be independent. Parents usually will never say such negative things about their children even if they are thieves, scamsters and murderers.

I don't think so rightnow. He did not talk negatively about his parents or Sameer infront of everyone, but told his Mahan Malkinji only, he was forced to let out his past to explain things to Indira. Even earlier, when Indira asked him about his parents, he never talked about them in a negative way, but tried to avoid talking about them. I feel we should see how hurt he is by his parents. In a way they were a reason why he became a liar at times.

indira & everybody wanted the truth to be out...n they got it. the truth is seldom pretty & rishi is not a hypocrite to sugar coat the truth. no harm in calling a spade a spade. in his case his parents didnt say -ve things...they just did bad things which spoiled his childhood...so he has every right to be bitter...which he surprisingly isnt...but ask him to choose between his parents 'false reputation' & lying to indu one more time by keeping quite...he chose to be honest becoz that is what she wanted of him...n if the truth aint pretty ...well she will have to live wid it

Slightly negative. Not completely negative like his greedy brother Sameer. That slightly negative is also an impression Indu might have got.

Once things are in proper perspective, Rishi's real self will come out which will be hopefully positive.

I felt sorry for him and Indu when Indu packed his things and closes the door.

The lesson is that if one goes on telling lies, it will be difficult to believe if that person tells the truth.
One cannot blame Indu for the reaction.
