'immature' ?? rishi

immaturity is supposed to mean undeveloped, childishness, green but it also means youthful.

so which one is rishi?

for me hes youthful- .

for eg- helping mandira escape the forced wedding, he knows the kind of a person mandira is but he still thinks given the circumsatnces of hitler forcing her into a marriage, its better to run away. was he right ? in retrospect , no he was wrong. but only in retrospect. he couldnt predict the future. was he immature? yes in that he trusted mandira to ve more sense and self preserving instict which she had.

and then todays changing indira s pictures- the photos werent cheap- it was like those of a model. he explains that he wanted to see her look glam and beautiful , so he tried that. was this immature ? no, he knew what he was doing was going to irritate indira but he did it still bcoz he thought she should loosen up a bit.

when someone cant understand the consequences of his actions he is immature. does rishi know the consequences of his actions?

yes , most of the times. he still does it with almost a naive hope that what he thinks will happen will not in reality happen

even conceded that hes immature, is he wrong? should his personality undergo a U turn? should he be blasted for not being perfect? should his immaturity be a reason for someone including indira not marrying him?

acc to me, NO.

That's the bottomline isn't it ? his Love for her would outweigh his immatureness or childish behavrior or irresponsible nature, etc... but people see it differently and have different point of view on that fair enough. but sometimes to conclude is misfit for Indira is very unfair, as no one is perfect in life. In fact, people who say Rishi is not the right one for Indira need to ponder is Indira the perfect one ? Indira too has in her which is not acceptable. She is extremely aggressive and rude at times. She expects the perfect guy for her to take her family responsibilities. Indira manhandles people, but still Rishi is ready to accept her as it is, so why not Rishi be accepted ?

was it imaturity that sent him searching for ishaan? imaturity that made him think and act quickly in macau when he went after mandira ? immaturity when he saved the property from being sold by inder ? immaturity when he anticipated jhumpa s comments and taunts? immaturity when he forgives munna bhaisaab for beating him up? immaturity when he s telling indira she should think before marrying just to spite her family?

wheres in all this his irresponsible childish immature behavior?

Exactly, that is what I mean, if you draw a line with his good deeds on one side and his immature act on the other, his good would easily outweight the bad. So, it is up to people which side they want to perceive and conclude. Judgment is often made by gauging the good vs bad and Rishi has done more good than bad. If a person is good and he has few qualities to work with, then it is a challenge for the partner to correct that make that person the way he/she should ideally be. His intentions are always good, only his actions turn out to be blunder at times, so it is worth giving him the long rope that he realizes and learns from past mistakes.
