because they were not letting indu to marry rishi because rishi's mother revealed that he is no more a diwan..to make them a part of maariage he had to give money to them..

@mithsi: the best part was that indu heard it all... now she knows that rishi sacrificed his entire savings to get the blessing of her family... otherwise they could have done court marriage without involving the family. This shows rishi's love.
