Shows generate ratings based on content and cast !! Illogical to state that irrespective to those factors shows are pulled off air .The show needs to generate revenue for the channel and that is obviously based on TPR's however IF the storyline ,script and cast is substantial the show will achieve an audience base .

Its that simple.Anyhow am not into the 'RIVALRY' factor and simply put if the show is good it will carry its own weight .IF its not good then even if there is nothing showing on any other channel at the same time it will fall flat.

In todays day in age most people will flick through numerous channels and stop at the place which is most eye-catching for them .
