He's got a great character and personality..he's so animal friendly...I'm not...but I really appriciate people who stand up for animals we'd normally find terrifying.

Exactly. I know someone who finds Hagrid's character a big bore...but...I find him really someone who'd cheer you up when you're sad or frustrated. Guess that's why Ron, Hermoine, and Harry really love going there.
