a question about dementors...

hey ppls...

so in HPPOA, at the end in the shrieking shack, sirius says:

"I could transform in my cell ... become a dog. Dementors can't see, you know ... They feel their way toward people by feeding off their emotions..." (HPPOA 371 US ed.)

so my question is, if the dementors can't see, how do they know who exactly to perform the dementor's kiss on?.... the dememtors were given permission to kiss sirius if they found him, but how do they know who he is?

maybe this'll be answered in the last book (though i kinda doubt that), so it's up to you guys....

dementors can feel the person, they just can't feel dogs, and animals. That's why sirius escaped so many times! 😛

the human emotions are diffrent from the motuions of dog so they could not fell the emotion of sirius when he was a dog

I think I read somewhere that dementors feed on peoples emotions esp suck out all happiness out of them. So as long as a person is transformed into animal they will not sense them....

Also OOTP movie I was immd. hit by a dialogue in court room when HP & dudley were attacked by dementors .....Someone commented that how can dementor attack muggle...which means dementors are only limited to witch & wizards...also may prove our speculations that dudley may be a wizard.

i thiink dudlyy mite be a wizerd buh aunt petunia diid somethiing to hiim that made all the magic sucked out of hiim..that's cuz when the dementors attacked dudleyy he saw somethiing reallyy bad buh he cudnt liike rememberr everr beiing mistreated..&& then in the HBP prof. dumbledore says atleast aunt petunia && uncle vernon neverr miistreated harryy liike theyy mistreated dudleyy..then laterr on in that book whne prof. dumbledore wus talkiing to harryy bout voldemorts mom && how she died he said that if u have somethiing reallyy bad come upon u or somethiing u can loose ur magicall powers..so yeaaaaa lol i thiink dudleyy used to be a wizard😕
