References - An HP Game

hey all....

so several years ago, i was randomly reading harry potter stuff, and i came across a webpage with some people playing the following game (so it's not my creation, it's borrowed... no idea what that site is now though....)

Description: in all the books, there are hints that we dont seem to catch, and this game is to see how much we can spot... if you can think of something or someone that is first mentioned in passing, then turns out to be really important, post it here......

Examples:

Sirius Black
- hagrid first mentions him in HPSS, when talking about the motorcycle
- the muggle newscaster mentions him in HPPOA
- we are finally told about sirius' significance in harry's life at the end of HPPOA

Mrs. Arabella Figg
- Harry first says she's just a random neighbor with a bunch of cats in HPSS
- Dumbledore mentions her at the end of HPGOF when talking about "the old gang" who was in the Order
- we finally discover that she's a squib who lives near harry to watch over him

Mundungus Fletcher
- Arthur Weasely mentions him in HPCOS, and says he tried to put a curse on Mr Weasely when his back was turned (Mr Weasely was on a raid for the ministry)
- Percy mentions him in HPGOF as someone who was complaining about things he lost at the Quidditch World Cup
- Dumbledore also mentions him at the end of HPGOF as one of the Order
- when mrs figg reveals herself, we also learn more about mundungus and how he's also in the Order

Luna Lovegood
- in HPGOF, when Mr Weasely and Mr Diggory are discussing who else was going to the World Cup, they mention "the Lovegoods"
- we actually meet Luna in HPOOTP, where she then plays a bigger role
