Well the readers have been made to believe that Harry indeed is Voldermort's Nemesis and viceversa...and anyohter character no matter how strong , would be a support system to Harry / Voldermort. Dumbledore was an influence in Harry's life and someone who has seen Tom Riddle turn inot Voldermort ,and so has he seen Harry Potter and the horrors of his past , a man who has been a witness to all that has transpired more than anyone else....

As for Dumbledore dying, may be it was aptly the time , that it was his time and he had reached the end. fighting for a noble reason... to rid of the evil in the form of VOldy...... and as for JKR wanting to kill Dumby off... was I think, possibly that Dumby did all he could, and it was time for Harry to face Nemesis alone... Dumby being alive wouldnt have reduced the victory of Harry , but his death sure makes one realize that fighting Voldy is no easy task... and fighting evil has a price , often one's own life!

My thoughts...

I think you are right that j k rowling wanted everybody to think harry is hero not D.But still i did not like the death of headmaster.

We've already made so much speculation on DD's death that i think if we go too much into it, JKR's answer may be completely different..!! 😆

Really like what Sareeta ji said in the end, that fighting evil does have a price, you put that very well.... :)

I think it was just the time for Dumbledore to go, am sure we will get more of our questions answered once the book comes out.... and i know, i would have never wanted DD to go, he was one of my favourite characters and i will miss him..!! But there is probably a reason, he has done so much already so i really think it's Harry's duty now to complete it... am i making sense?

maybe there would another secret chamer in hogwarts and maybe in the chamber a strong powered person could bring back any one person back from dead and then harry has to choose whom to bring back his parents or dumbledore?? tat would be kinda intresting.. 😆

Also, that would really say a lot, since Dumby was fighting evil, I refrain from saying Voldermort , since he is only a form of evil that has reared it ugly head , a manifestation of evil I'd say!! When one fights a bad guy ... its not the person, but I suppose the evil manifestation that we wish to eradicate lest it rear it manifest itself in many others...

hey guys i dont thnk dubledore is dead .....i have resnd 2 blive dis....
ya dubledore isnt dead....u c the killing curse never leaves ne clue or trace......but wen snape spelld he fell down frm astronomy tower......n on his burial his body covered no1 was able 2 c wat inside it......n do u blieve dumbledore beign a sooooooo gr8 wizard...dere wil b no explanation abt his wand aftr his death?????isnt dis leads 2 dat dumbledore n snape planed it all 2 trick voldemort......so dat vondemort need not take protection against dumbledore n doesnt it leads 2 dat snape is not a death eater...wel i dont know wat 2 believe....but i thnk dis is d explaination.... and R.A.B. stands 4 regulus sumthn black
