Firstly, when Harry confronts Mundungus at Hogsmeade and launches into a tirade for nicking some stuff from Sirius' home,Mundungus is spotted with some "silver goblet/object".He Apparates out pronto, but whatever happened to the object is unknown.Does anyone feel what he was clutching was a horcrux???😕
It is widely acknowledged that Harry's run in with Mundungus was to set up the story line in Deathly Hallows wherein the Trio realise that the Locket Horcrux might be unwittingly stolen by Mundungus and they will track him down. I think that the Dung has or might have had the locket Horcrux at some point and the trio will track him down.
I don't think that the other things he stole are of any consequence other than to just show Harry's rage at anyone trying to besmirch Sirius's memory.
Secondly, when Harry hides the Half Blood Prince's book in the Room of Requirment,he comes across a closet, where he finds a cage with a 5 legged skeleton,a statue on whose head he places a wig and a tiara..This at first doesnt seem to be of much importance, but what incase there's more to these objects than meets the eye??.Any views about objects(namely, the tiara, cage and wig??)
Hmmm...they might be important...they did catch my eye when I was readin HBP for the millionth time...in any case...Harry will come across them once again since I believe that he will go to find the Half Blood Prince's book in DH in the room of requirements
Thirdly, when Ron gets poisoned on his birthday,Hagrid tells Harry that Snape and Dumbledore had a heated argument, where Snape tells Dumbledore that he's being taken for granted and he doesnt wish to continue the task(whatever it was) any longer.Again, this point was never taken up in the book and explained. What do you reckon they were discussing about, and what was it that Snape didnt want to continue any longer??
Well, this question ties in closely with another important question regarding Snape's loyalty...and as I'm ambiguous about that question...I can't answer this one...
If Snape's with Voldemort, then his argument with Dumbledore might be due to him not agreeing with DD and not wanting to continue doing Dumbledore's bidding any longer...
If Snape's with Dumbledore, then it might be DD pleading with Snape to execute DD's plan and kill him and Snape not agreeing to it. Though why would DD want to kill himself...when he can be of so much more use to Harry in life than in death...and so this theory seems rather far- fetched to me
Lastly, when Lupin asks Harry to see how old the book of the half blood prince is,its 50 years old. Thus they conclude that it could never have belonged to any of the Marauders...Finally,its revealed that the book belonged to Snape...Now wasnt Snape too a contemporary of the Marauders,so if the book is 50 years old,how could it have belonged to Snape (unless it was a second hand book😕)...But Voldemort went to Hogwarts 50 years ago,so couldnt that book have belonged to him😛??..Snape accuses James of having used his spells, but what if those spells were never invented by Snape??perhaps those spells were conceived and developed b Voldemort, and the others were plainly using those..Any views on these questions??
Well..your facts are wrong dear...Snape's book first belonged to his mother, Eileen Prince-Snape when she was at school, 50 years ago.
Since the Snapes are poor(OotP: Snape's Worst Memory) it seems likely that Snape got the book from his mother as he couldn't buy a new one.
'It's just that 1 was right about Eileen Prince once owning the book. You see ... she was Snape's mother!'
---Hermione in HBP, Chapter 30, The White Tomb
Also, the spells were invented by Snape since he tells Harry when he's fleeing from Hogwarts and Harry attempts to use the Sectumsempra curse on Snape:
"You dare use my own spells against me, Potter? It was I who invented them - I, the Half-Blood Prince! And you'd turn my inventions on me, like your filthy father, would you? I don't think so . . . no"
