i kno...but i was surprised to find out that ppl at other forums sort of thought it too..cuz i thought it was just a random far-fetched idea (in CoS movie...dumbledore says that voldy trasnferred part of himself into harry...but in the book i think it only talked of power transfer)...so i dunno

I think if Harry would have been a Horcrux, then he would have been a Slytherin considering that a part of Voldemort would be INSIDE Harry. Then that part of Voldemort would have sucked on Harry's soul when he was very young - remember what happened with Ginny and Tom's diary?

So if a diary Horcrux can do that to an eleven-year-old Ginny, then won't that part of Voldemort which might be inside Harry "possess" him?

Hence my reason to not believe this theory too much... but you never know.

that's a good reason not to believe it (i don't either), but i have another one...

think back to the time (lol..i sound lame..haha) when voldy possessed harry at the end of OoTP...he couldn't possess harry cuz of the feeling of love inside him..the power of love pushed voldy out of harry's body

in that same sense, i think that voldy's soul cannot survive inside harry...the power of love would push the "evil" away

But that was just like when he was defeated the first time... due to the power of love, he would be unable to make Harry a Horcrux in the first place.

yup..that's just as true

alsoo...i was wondering whether voldy even created a 7th horcrux cuz DD (Dumbledore) said that voldy was going to create the seventh horcrux from harry's murder...and if voldy his as proud as we think he is, i might not have created a seventh horcrux and is waiting to kill harry so that he can make the seventh one

i duno..i think i might be far out on that one...but it's just a thought that i'm putting up for discussion

He might have created a seventh Horcrux and placed it somewhere in Godric's Hollow. He might have recovered it then and placed it at a yet different place...

Plus, why would he want to kill Harry if a part of his own soul is inside him?

it could've been an accident that happened when the spell back-fired...i doubt he would do such a thing purposely
