harry potter series

i love the harry potter series and ever since jk rowling has announced the release date of her LAST book, i've had mixed feelings.. i am happy to know the ending but am sad to know that there will be no more harry potter..

i am a veryyy big fan and was wondering where people have heard of harry potter from..
i no some people who had never heard of harry potter until the release of the movie. i was on of them. 😳

in fourth grade i had this friend who was crazy about hp.. he was so excited they were making it into a movie and he suggested a bookworm like me to read it. i, being a good friend, accepted him advice and since them, am hooked. i read all of the books and seen all of the movies.. 😃

how about you guys?? anybody want to post their stories? it'll be like a nice early goodbye cuz after that we'll be bzy reading the 7th book, im sure 😉 [i no its a loong time till that but still 😆 ]

well i kind of grew on HP as well. because of my brother, he used to drag me to all this kidz movies, and i had to watch every new one that came out. I have not read the book my brother has, i probably wont read the book.

well mine is this funny story 😆
in my 3rd only HP released and ter was this classmate of myn... he adn i were good friends as from our 2nd standard the 2 of us were the only ones to get into this 3rd section.
he insulted enid blyton and said that it was not a patch on HP and i did likewise though i didnt read HP. then we had a bet that if i read HP , he would read EB. well i did that and he had to read too. then we came to an understanding that both were good but HP was brillllllllllllllllllllliant!!!
i still thaank him for that... but now he says HP is nothing when comared to perry mason and sidney sheldon.. and i have read them too... and really HP is so good

and u guys gta know that it was this common craze for HP that was the FOUNDATION, literally, for our friendship at a time when we thought tht was all we had in commin.

dont bother to hide ur laughter cos one of the first things we did wen we were getting to know each other was play HP challenge... then only we go to talking and realised we had more in common

Mine's wierd... my grandmom had once said these books "Harry Potter" are really good for adults and for kids.... I just pushed it away....

But one day, in the british council library, I couldn't find much books (It's awesome place....! To sit n read, like for lounging... blah!.... And I had taken 5 books, 2 VCDs, etc... and I had 1 more book i could get... so I just picked that up and read the first one.... after that!!!! Lalala!!! I read the next 3 withing a week and then sat and waited for the rest! 😆

BCL? really? i got my first HP book from british council only.. i actually considered taking COS first but the lady there only told me that it was a series and all

yea HP got me a lot of friends trust me! i always read boks and me and niyu are trend setters wen it cums to buks in scul and after i recomended HP to my classmates i became realy popular

well, meri story... hmmmm...
i had already seen the first movie... but i didnt wanna read the books... but unlike niyu, i did read books, loads of them, secret seven, famous five, nancy drew, etc, etc...

phir one day i was soooooo bored, & my friend had the 3rd book with her... so i thought i'd read it....

& when i read the first chapter, i liked it sooooo much that i read the whole book....

& then d whole series... & today, im a HP fan
