HP banner contest: SUBMISSION PERIOD OVER

Hey Everyone!

We are starting a HARRY POTTER BANNER CONTEST for all u Harry Potter fans out there. . Thanks a lot Radz for the great idea!

All the members including the Viewbies can participate in the contest.

The RULES are-

Each member can submit up to 5 ENTRIES and not more than that. All the members MUST PRIVATE MESSAGE THEIR ENTRIES either to Mystica or me. The entries should be private messaged to Mystica or me by AUGUST 1, which is the LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION of your banners.
1. The banner can have as many pictures u want to include. Just REMEMBER that your banner MUST contain some (not all) of the following-

Michael Gambon [the new Dumbledore], the Triwizard Champions, the trio, a scene from Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire, the Half Blood Prince, the other main characters like Neville , Lupin , Sirius, members from Weasley family and the others.

Please try and include as many as u can .

1. The banner MUST NOT have only pics of Harry or only pics of the trio . It MUST NOT have Richard Harris[the old Dumbledore]

MYSTICA MAGIC AND ME will judge the banners. Your banners will be judged on the effects, number of characters, number of pics , theme etc.

Pls pls Pls private message your banners by AUGUST 1st . No banners will be allowed after that.

The 10 best banners will be displayed for public voting on August 4th.

Each banner will be given a number which will be PMed to the contestant. Please keep your numbers safe. To ensure fairness, your names will not be displayed during the voting process.

Attempts to create multiple IDs to increase voting for your banner will result in DISQUALIFICATION of your banner from the contest.

The Banner Size MUST be 728 px. * 90 px. otherwise, we will not be able to load it.

IMPORTANT:

You may NOT swap banner entries. If you submit 5 banners and wish to replace one or more with other entries, you cannot do so.

All entries are considered final, so please make sure you submit your best banners.

The harry potter banner contest has been extended to AUGUST 1

IMPORTANT:

The voting period will begin effective August 4th.

UPDATE:

The Banner Contest deadline has been extended to Midnight August 3 (US/CANADA TIME - EST)

This is 9.30 AM IST, August 4.

THERE WILL BE NO MORE EXTENSIONS after this.

The voting will still take place on August 4th; there will be no changes on that account.

For the members info on the process:

- Misha and I are marking each banner out of 10, based on Character usage, special effects and clarity

- We will place banners with the top ten marks up for public voting.

- More details will follow on the voting day (August 4th)
