The maiden means a lady and we don't know who she is..

I thought the second line referred to two distinct female entities.. one is wondering who the other is.. but the way u have explained it, it isnt clear if u mean the same or something else.. it seems as though there is a "lady" & somebody else( us the readers & not the lady) is wondering who she (the lady) is..😕
