This a tough one !

when i read the riddle , all i could think of as an answer was some sort of piece of clothing..lol.. Invisibility Cloak seemed to fit most clues- except "not make you richer" & "witch's embarrassment" ..

The witch's embarrassment..hmm.. now I can only think of Ginny's embarrassment when she showed up in front of Harry for the fist time & was thoroughly embarrassed when she asked about her "Jumpa" or "Pajamma" to Mrs.Weasley...

So is it a "Jumpa' or "Pyjamma" ?..🤣... it doesnt fit any other clues..a very stupid guess i know..

I think Metamorphmagus fits certain clues in the riddles..so I second Avie's guess..

My next guess would be Love/TrueLove.. it doesnt fit all the clues though..it doesnt fit in "changing hues" or "protection in winter".. but it does fit in central plot, muggle fairy tale & might also fit witch's embarrassment..

Ani is it a thing or a concept?..😕

see i'll give a major hint:

nt all clues are directly related to HP...but of course some are..its something that exists both is magical as well as non-magical world...so riddle is made accordingly..i hope u get the drift now?
