No twila i am not going to shut it down only that i have been really buzy coz uni opened and with it came tones of assignments, tests extra classes and on top a surprise exam!!

Soon everyone joined in some had musical fireworks others had images of famous witches and wizards, messages while some were showers of lights of different colours. Harry was having a lot of fun it seemed like everyone was.

'Ron, Hermione come.' Harry said after an hour or so.

'What is it mate?' Ron asked grinning.

'What happened?' Hermione asked smiling too.

'It's really crowded come.' Harry simply said indicating them to join him out.

'What is it?' Ron asked when the three were outside.

'Come on.' Harry said walking towards the castle.

'Harry.' Hermione called.

'Relax, just come first I'll explain.' He said as he entered the castle and made his way to the grand staircase.

'In a few minutes they were standing by the fat lady portrait.

'Hello, not enjoying.' The fat lady said to them.

'Forgot something.' Harry replied and the portrait swung forward to let them in.

'Will you please speak now?' Ron said as they entered the common room.

'Okay.' Harry finally said as he stood by the fireplace.

'I have been thinking.'

'About.' Ron said.

'The Wand.' He replied.

'Harry.' Hermione said sounding concerned.

'Don't worry. I have been thinking of how to put it away.'

'And.' Hermione said.

'I came up with two options and I need your help.' Harry said observing their expressions which were alert.

'One, I can just place it somewhere where no one can find or …' Harry said trailing away.

'Or.' Hermione edged.

'Don't keep it mate. It is powerful but we've seen just what power can lead to.' Ron said with great determination in his voice.

'Ron.' Hermione said shocked at the responsible tone of Ron. Sure he was more responsible now but this was not his usual way.

'True.' Ron tried to defend himself.

'I'm not keeping it.' Harry said.

'Then.' Ron said.

'I thought I could break it and throw it in different places that I none of us would know.' He finished.

'How is that possible? We should know where we are going or else we could get lost.' Hermione said.

'That's why I need you to come. I will break the wand in three. Each one of us will go to a place far from here and not say where we are and put it there.' Harry explained.

'And you are telling us this now because….' Ron said waiting for another explanation.

'I need to make the decision right now.' Harry said.

'Why?' Ron asked.

'Everyone is celebrating here and everywhere else. It's the best time to put away the wand without anyone knowing.'

'I don't know mate. It's your wand so you have to decide.'

'He's right.' Hermione said.

'Come on guys please help me.' Harry pleaded.

'What do you think is the best way?' Hermione asked.

'I don't know.'

'Harry, you know it.'

Harry thought. If he wanted to truly get rid of the wand then he has to do it in a way that he can't recover it.

'That's it. Thanks guys.' Harry said smiling. 'Wait here. Hermione you bag is here by the way.'

'You are supposed to that not him. Have you changed bodies?' Ron told Hermione as Harry darted out of the common room.

'How did this get here?' Hermione asked in surprise as she took the beaded bag in her hand from the chair.

'Don't know.' Ron said.

In a few minutes Harry came with two broomsticks.

'What are those for?' Ron asked.

'How do you think we'll rid the wand?' Harry asked.

'Certainly not flying miles away. We can apparate remember?' Ron said.

'Harry we can just apparate.' Hermione said.

'We will.' Harry said.

'Then what are they for?' Hermione asked.

'You'll see.' Harry replied smiling.

'Um Harry, how did my bag come here?' Hermione asked.

'Kreacher of course. He brought it when I asked him to get me the firebolt. Which reminds me.' He asid as he dashed up the stair to the boys dormitory.

He came back with the Firebolt.

'Okay. Listen.' He said as he took out the Elder Wand from his pocket and snapped it in three. It gave out a hissing sound followed by a crack.

'Wow someones not happy.' Ron said.

'We go to Hogsmead and apparet to a place that only one of us knows. We'll start with you Hermione. You pick a place that is as far from here as possible. Don't tell us where you've taken us. Not even if we ask. Okay?' Harry said.

'Yeah.' Hermione replied.

'Same thing Ron. Pick a place and don't tell us at all. Then I'll pick a place and that will be the last of it. Okay.' Harry said nodding to the two.

Both nodded back in agreement and Hermione went to keep the bag in her room.

'Shall we?' Harry asked handing the two broomsticks to Ron and Hermione and taking out the Marauders Map.

'We should take the tunnel to avoid being seen.' Harry said as here looked down on the map. It was empty except for some few foot prints away from the statue in the opening of the tunnel.

'It's all clear let's go.' Harry said as he walked out. They climbed out of the hole and made their way down the stairs to the corridor where the statue of the one-eyed witch stood.

"Dissendium!" Harry whispered, tapping the stone witch.

At once, the statue's hump opened wide enough to admit them in. Harry glanced quickly up and down the corridor to check if it was clear again though it wasn't necessary as most of the crowd was on the ground.

They quickly made their way through the tunnel until they reached the trapped door of honeydukes. Harry flung it upwards and crawled out.

'The doors are locked. That means most of the village is up at school celebrating.' Harry told the two.

'That's nice. It makes things better.' Hermione said as she pointed her wand towards the door knob. ''Alohomora!"

They made their way into the shop and out the front door. They were now standing outside Honeydukes.

'Now?' Ron asked.

'Let's go near the Shrieking Shack them we can apparate from there we can't risk anyone seeing us or they'll be suspicious.' Harry whispered to them as he noticed a few figures lingering about on the far end of the street.

They made their way to the shack and when they reached there they stood right outside.

'Remember far away as possible and not a word to us about where we are going.' Harry told Hermione as he handed her one of the three pieces of the wand.

'Yeah. But what about the brooms?' Hermione asked.

'We take them of course why else would we have brought them?' Harry answered

'Right. Okay ready?' Hermione asked the two.

'Ready' Ron and Harry said together.

Immediately the three of them lost the sight of the shack and Harry's sight became blurry but was immediately replace with a very dark area. They had reached.

The place was very dark and cold. There was a strong wind blowing and harry only felt rough groung under his feet.
