oh lol..see heres my explanation lol lol
first line-
hogwarts is school just like muggles have schools, exception being its a magic school.
second line-
its lifeless coz its a non living thing but does make a strong life-long bond/attachment with whoever who steps foot there.
third line-
for SOME..I take harry and voldy here..hogwarts indeed proved to be a "way out" of their frustrated and tormented life. It seemed heaven to them. It drew a pull. A good one at that.
fourth line-
it is a beginning yes..but life in hogwarts is not forever..only seven years..hence its the end too :)
