Well, this is what it got when I researched the topic.
"Persons aged 16 and over can be served beer and cider if ordered with a meal in a restaurant or in a pub with an area specifically set aside for meals. Otherwise the minimum drinking age is 18."
But I know in Netherlands, Italy, and France you can drink when your 16.
