This is the girl who will play Luna Lovegood.

Evanna Lynch is a 14-year-old Irish actress, from Termonfeckin, County Louth. It was revealed on February 2, 2006 that she is to play Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. She is expected to start filming at the end of February at Leavesden Studios, London.

In 2003, Lynch met Potter author J. K. Rowling and received a signed copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. She was let out of hospital to do so.

She attends Our Lady's College, Greenhills, Drogheda.
