First time here. Will try reading all the good ones suggested so far. I'm surprised about the huge Sirius and Jilly fandom btw.

I never imagined anything about Draco and Hermione until I ended up reading What The Room Requires. I don't have much experience with fanfics but this one is definitely the best Dramione fanfic out there! I've turned into such a hardcore Dramione shipper now! 😆

What The Room Requires is pretty good. I'm pretty sure a lot of the d/hr shippers always rec Isolation, but this is a really good fic. And I hope you have a good time venturing the fandom for more obscure fics. 😛

I couldn't stand Isolation for even 10 chapters because smutty content is not my thing. I liked WTRR and Lady Malfoy so far. Isolation ain't have that spark of adventure or mystery which was luckily there in Lady Malfoy. Gotta hunt down this thread for more recommendations 😆

I like to read whatever as long as the writing is phenomenal. I get more and more picky as the years go on. 😆 Like, I can't stand all the stories that use the same plot and dialogue, like there are so many that are the same and they're all cliche and ooc.

I loved The Fallout because it was so much about the effects of war on everyone in full scale, but if you're easily put off by smut, you're going to have such a hard time reading it. Besides that, the writing is great, the characters are flawed but they work. Midnight by SpankingHalo would probably be a better choice for you, if you want a war fic without the smut. But it's about if Voldermort won the war, and there is far too much angst.

Luckei1 is a pretty good writer too.

Besides mystery/suspense, angst is just the right genre that clicks me.
