| The UK Harry Potter book publisher, Bloomsbury, has posted a press release which reveals a good deal of information on the new interview between JK Rowling and Stephen Fry. The talk, entitled "Living with Harry Potter," will be broadcast tomorrow on BBC Radio 4 at 9:00 AM GMT. We expect you can listen to the show at this link, shortly after it airs. From Bloomsbury: She [JKR] asks how he [Stephen Fry] does Hermione's voice and Stephen reveals his inspiration to be Stanley Baxter: "I always loved the Scottish comedian Stanley Baxter and I noticed from an early age, I was about 10, that when he did a woman he would deepen his voice unlike trying to do a falsetto and actually for a lot of women that works very well. |
