Hi ppl,
I just saw the movie yesterday.......just thought I would post a review on it here as I couldn't find a topic already talking on it I thought shuld start a new one....
!!!!!!!![Movie 4] Spoilers Ahead!!!!!!!!
Please do not continue if you haven't seen it as yet please don't continue.. or on second thoughts continue at your own risk.
So now lets get to business.
First n Foremost let me make it clear that this is just a comparision of the movie with the books facts.... how much has changed.
What pissed me off the most was they've changed the story line like anything.
Secondly the effects were too cool......esp the World Cup Stadium and Campsite I mean it was humongous by any standards.
Thirdly if you see they've removed the many of the important sub plots in the story line. like what about hermione discovering that rita skeeter is an animagus.... n everything. and the showdown between hagrid n madam maxime.
also near the end during the 'gr8 duel' so to speak it was nothing more than mere conversation.... it did lack the intensity that was there in the conversations in the book....
also my dear winky they edited her out completely.... that was so mean. I'm gonna complain to S.P.E.W. hehehehe.
Last but no the least Dumby's speech at the end about Cedric was not as passionate as I would have liked it to be. Also I felt that gambon was a bit too loud at times...
Let me say this once again.... I loved the movie and anytime would rate it over any other movie going around now. Actually it didn't fulfill the expectations I had from it.
Maybe I'm expecting a bit too much but then being a true JKR & HP fan I shouldn' settle for anything less should I ppl...... I know that you wouldn't too.
