Do you like Ron? - Page 2

I love him- he brought a fun element to the books and if you think about it he's the first friend harry ever made and they became friends with hermione because of him in a way- if he never said those things to her in book 1 then they'd never have to rescue her from the troll- so wouldn't have been friends.

I have to agree with you on that one. I really regret that the strategist side of his personality was sort of ignored in the rest of the books. I also agree that people forget that it's not only Hermione who is the brainy, Ron is intelligent and helpful to Harry, albeit a different way. (what I mean is I would have preferred if JKR had stressed that side of Ron in DH.)

Definite among fav characters of mine! :) With all his insecurities / his sense of humor , his irritable nature , his "put in a foot in my mouth" timing for his remarks, adorable thick headedness when it comes to emotions , specially girls , he is one of the most adorable characters in the series ... he seems to have no special talent or is not popular, he seems to live under the shade of Harry's best mate, and yet you can't ignore him!
