i think that if they replacement had been done for the second movie, then it might not have been that big of deal. But after 3 movies, i think that the three have gotten their own respective fan clubs. i think that if anyone else tries to replace the three, it might not work to their advantage, because you can see a comfort zone now between the three.

for example, in the first movie, emma stated she was very embarrassed to hug dan and rupert in the end scene, but now, you can see she is alot more comfortable with them.

i dont think they are getting that old for it. for rupert, he is only playing a character 2 years younger than what he is. thats pretty close, compared to the many actors in their 20s-40s trying to pull off being a high school or college student (read: SRK, Amir Khan etc). And it would be weird to get kids who look younger because at this time, because its these years that children really begin to grow. its cool watching the transformation of them. i was just watching Sorcerer's Stone last night, and couldnt believe the changes that the three went through. its cool to watch.
