I think Dumbledore told Snape to kill him. So he's probably good.

i always thought tht snape is not evil coz there r many such things which i m not writin....... but i can be wrong too... it's all upon J.K Rowling wat happens in the 7 th book... we can't say anything but i think tht snape is not evil.. tht is wat i think 😊

I still hate Snape even if he did it all because Dumbledore and him planned that...I just dont like 👎🏼 him...EVIL SNAPE!! 😈 😈

read the last book carefully. after reading it my first reaction was like most of yours... snape turned out to be a rotten devil after all. but dumbledore was no fool... he would not have trusted snape without good reason.. i think that snape was made to do this by dumbledore himself. of all the characters JKR has created this guy has far far more layers than any other. there is infact a theory that snape was in love with lily, harrys mom and he never intended voldy to kill her. aparently only dumbledore knew this and thats why he knew that snape would never harm harry becos of guilt and remorse. also snapes true characater has never been revealed in any of the books.... he is indeed the true mystery of the harry potter series
