| Amrita Prakash is thrilled to be playing her own age in the serial. This relieved 19-year-old says, "Thankfully I don't have to wear saris and a mangalsutra." Unlike most TV serial heroines, Amrita won't be playing a martyr who sacrifices her happiness for others. Spilling the beans on her role Amrita says, "My character Sanskriti is a rebel and a strong-headed girl who will stand up for her rights and beliefs even if it means going against her family and friends. As a modern girl I can relate to the character in many ways. What I like about Sanskriti is her confidence and stubborn streak." But unlike Sanskriti, Amrita isn't a fan of live-in relationships. We might get to see Amrita in a new avtaar in Har Ghar, but she isn't a new face for the audience as this actress/model has been making her presence felt in the ad world since she was four years old and entered television when she was 11. She has anchored shows like Fox Kids, Kya Masti Kya Dhoom and also played Amrita Arora's sister in Rajshree's Vivaah. |
