Your new show Gum Hua Hosh sounds a lot like Aek Chabhi Hai Padoss Mein.. No, no. It's just that both the shows are based on families living in the same neighbour- hood. While Aek Chabbi.. deals with people living in Colonel Ganj, Gum Hua Hosh is about the people living on Shaadi street in Varanasi. Are you doing a re-run of Prarthana from Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai? Hardly! Nandini of Gum Hua Hosh is a chirpy and confident girl while Prarthana is a com- plete Sati Savitri. The drama starts when she falls in love with a man who turns out to be her father's murderer Oops.. that's quite serious I told you it's nothing like Aek Chabhi.. that's a lot more light-hearted and romantic. Do you think another week- ly will survive in a channel thick with dailies? I'm quite happy with the Sat- urday 8 pm slot, there are few fictional shows during the weekend. I'm sure viewers want a lot more than just music talent shows. Besides, the strain on us actors is a lot lesser in a weekly Whom do you identify more with.. Nandini or Prarthana?
