Maybe it is a pre-wedding function.

Also what we are assuming to be a mangalsutra wrapped in hand might be a bracelet.

In the other post wedding pic she is wearing proper chuda and mangalsutra.

But in a few other pics shared before, she had the mangalsutra wrapped around her wrist. I believe that's a new fashion of wearing mangalsutra, I've seen another actress in a show wear it on her wrist.
