We must not forget that Nikhil is the main culprit here. Remember that he did the Devdas act when Iashaana wanted to marry Kunal. So why would chachu ( however much he loves laajo) ever think anything else. Its Nikhil who agreed to the separation, divorce and engagement.

Lets face it Inder and his family are emotionally DENSED. They don't seem to understand the hidden and yet grasping emotions that many humans go through. Most of their emotions, that are actually aired out or talked about in this family is of the shallow kind. They don't understand the emotions that is starkly, staring at their face so how can they ever understand emotions buried deep in Nikhils heart?

Ayesha , is actually being kind. She made an effort to be kind to laajo and to a certain extend succeeded, but with Ishaana , no fffort is needed. Ishaana is her kind of people. She understands Ishaana's position in society, her being jilted, and her being talked about very well, So she symphatizes. I cant wait for Aishah to fall head over heels with her current beau. That is going to turn her world around!

As for the family not feeling for laajo and her status in HER society after a divorce--- I seriously think they don't care because Laajo's plight does not affect them at all. On top of it, it seems to me, that they feel that the poor do not feel as much as them. Their humiliation will always be bigger than Laajos.

I also felt claustrophobic as there were no Lakhil scenes. Nikhil seemed back to square one confused as ever 😡 I thought there will be a blast with Ishana in the picture but nothing happened!! She cancelled the engagement. We cant blame Chachu, because Nikhil has told the lines" I love Ishana" so many times that it is etched in his mind !!!!😆😆😆😆. Hope today we get to see something interesting!!! I feel the C.V's can spice it up by having a dream song sequence where Nikhil dreams of Laajo . So that we fans feel connected to the show and the leads after such rollercoaster ride of confusion!! Why should Laajo dream of Nikhil always? why cant it be other way round? 😉 What say guys?😳

I don't think chachu is like the rest of the family. He likes laajo and he would have loved it if Nikhil loved laajo but he thinks that Nikhil still loves ishana. He doesn't know that Nikhil doesn't love ishana...even Nikhil himself doesn't know. He doesn't understand that if Nikhil loves ishana and he wants to get divorced with laajo for that reason then why doesn't he want to get committed to ishana. Chachu has seen how close Nikhil and ishana were when laajo was in the house. This is enough for him to think that this is what Nikhil actualy wants. I think what chachu says/thinks is understandable from his point of view.
