Sana's scene about phone call was touching . And about his mom 's reaction i think she
does not want to see nikhil happy . She does not want to see him in peace she
wants him to suffer as she is suffering . Oh i dont know what i written
but iam not reading her character from the begining .

Ya Sana's reaction was like classic, it reminded me of very talented actresses of yesteryears like waheeda and madhubala but as per vibhav I find he is improving day by day but needs to work on his voice modulation a bit more but yaar itna pheeka reaction sab ka.He is just angry ? I mean sirf gussa? And about his mom I would really like to know about what she is thinking? It is intriguing I feel .May be it is problem with babuji and village or Nikhil's contentment...

Nikhil loves Ishana. He does not harbor any feelings for Laajo that are remotely romantic. He thinks of her as a waif to protect rather than a woman. The makers have been consistent in depicting this from day one and it would be weird to show that he suddenly develops an ache for her. I agree that his behavior has come across as cold but it is expected as he has not the maturity to truly comprehend Laajo heart. The only thing he can think of at this juncture is his hurt. He misses her and is saddened at her abrupt exit from his life but her absence has not generated the kind of stabling pain that Ishana's engagement caused. Her love is yet to germinate in his heart. But in the words a famous song...Love is lovelier the second time around...still wonderful with both feet on the ground. So while his first love was explosive, needy and weakening, this time love will be bring a soothing calm sense of strength that will help him overcome his ghosts and become the man he can be.

As viewers we expect him to fall in love for Laajo and I can understand your impatience but this is not just a story of a boy falling in love. This is a story of a boy becoming a man. The fact that Nikhil expected to carry on indefinitely with the facade of a marriage while concurrently gallivanting with his lover reveals how naive he is. I hope the creatives show this transition gently rather than an overnight occurrence.

it is very mature and beautiful view point thanks so much for sharing it here. May be that is the case but I feel he should have felt a bit more sadness and anger. Obviously he is not in love with her and wont be abruptly fall for her. But I wanted him to understand that what she did was for him. His sake and happiness.

I agree to many of ur points that he loves only ishaana and he has no feelings
towards laajo . I disagree that he is protective towards laajo . In this situation he
is nor treating laajo like wife and neither protective of her.

he is not that naive that he could not understand the importance and value of marriage.
He surely knows the importance of marriage he also knows that marriage is not easy to
break and he knows that of all the three because of this marriage laajo is the one
who suffering . He also knows as a village girl how much the marriage important
for her he knows that what circumstances laajo has to face if her marriage fails .
How her parents villlagers treat her all he knows . I dont think that he is that much naive
that he cant understand all these. He is just behaving careless, insensitive towards laajo .

I agree that he does not have any kind of feelings love for laajo . At this stage it will be
weird as u said if he suddenly developes love on laajo . We are not expecting that and
dont want him with laajo also .

The problem is why he is behaving as if nothing happened ? why he is behaving
normally ? He is not thinking about her at least minimum . Its really unreasonable
and un beleivable for a boy also let alone a man . He is behaving like there is no fault
of him in laajo exit from his life . He is not at all feeling guilty . This behaviour of nikhil
cant be supported.

For god's sake he married her she lived with him in his house for some days he went
to her village and he knows about her family , village . He knows their sentiments , values, traditions, culture .

We dont want him to sacrifice his love , life for laajo and dont want him to adjust with laajo
life long without love . Its just that he has to recognise that laajo left him for his life for his
love for his happiness . He does not care about her life . All he thinks is him and ishaana
its so not justified atleast he should feel guilty for laajo life .

He should feel sorry for her. A boy of 15 years also can definetely will understand clearly
after reading her letter except the stupid dumbo nikhil of 23 years or whatever .
His character is not justified .

And in my view he does not even miss her to a point that we can notice that .
He was hurt because of her sudden exit thats it.

Definetely in his heart only ishaana he has feelings only for ishaana . He completly
broken during ishaana engagement where as when laajo left he least bothered .
His only complaint with laajo that she did nt inform him about her decision .

By seeing nikhils love towards ishaana and his carelessness towards laajo i dont want
him to be with laajo . He should be with ishaana only .

I know zeik u nailed it by saying that he is not even bothered about what Lajjo would have to go though in village. That is where makers r going wrong. Old Nikhil though never loved Lajjo but cared for her as a human being. He was sensitive enough to object to her serving dinner to Ishaana before. Now he is like she went on her own accord so why should I bother. That is what is bothering me

Nikhil been often been portrayed as being clueless when it comes to understanding other people's sentiments. He has a good heart and intentions but when it comes to emotions this entire family is encased in some sort of a plastic wrap; like they cannot/will not allow feelings to permeate through some barrier.

Recall how callously Nikhil overlooked Ishana's shock when he shows up married ? How hard it must have been on a young fatherless girl who was banking on him as the male anchor of her life , in whom she had invested her heart and envisioned (and was ensured) her future, to have been sacrificed on the altar of being a hero'? He was totally oblivious to how deep the knife of Laajo had twisted in Ishana's heart arousing the jealousy that in turn twisted her moral fabric.

Recall how he incessantly flaunted Ishana in front of Laajo ? Laajo was ready to accept her as a part of his life, distinct from her own personal space, but was it necessary to inject Ishana in every breath of air that Laajo inhaled so she would be left gasping ? Again Nikhil could not fathom Laajo's feelings because while he enjoyed Laajo's companionship in isolation, there was no recognition of her stirrings as a woman.

Coming to his current insensitive disregard for Lajo's well being or an acknowledgement of her 'sacrifice' I would say that it stings his male ego that she exited in such a callous manner. In his eyes his actions have been largely blameless. He is acutely insensible to her injuries and Laajo never barred her heart to him. From his perspective he has supported her when she was most vulnerable by forfeiting his 'life' and was certainly not deserving of this shabby treatment. If she wanted to leave she could have told him, they could have worked out a plan, dealt with the situation in a pragmatic manner, what was she trying to imply by this silent vanishing act ? At the moment, his anger is clouding any other thoughts about her. But other feelings will peek through soon enough.

What I saw last week in Nikhil was recognition and resentment that his marriage to Laajo had hijacked his friends, his career and his love. And now he is relieved to have it all 'pehley jaisa'. Again he is a bit daft here really but then it gels with the character of a person who is not tuned into' anyone around him.

It is very clear that a person can Nikhil needs a woman like Lajo in his life to take care of the house and a woman to go with for parties. Nikhil was expecting that Lajo would return with Chachu, but when she did not. He was sad. He is not realising that she has deserted him because he hurt her badly and has several times told her that he LOVES ISHANA and not her. It is a compromise marriage. Now, all in the family should know that it was her MIL and Nani who made her leave the house and she has not left on her own. Then there will a lot of drama. Ishana is playing her role very well. She has got her love back. I am sure in real life also this will definitely take place and the Lover will not feel sad if the wife has left. She is doing justice to her role. Let us wait and watch how it heads.
