Really like the pairing of nikhil and lajjo. I don't know there's just something about them.

Like most is that Laajo answers back Barkha, Nani and Ayesha when they are taunting, he answers in a respectful manner but reverse would be if she just tolerated the abusive taunts and crying, but here she doesn't do that, that's the best part of her character. With the Nikhil the best part of his character is he is in a marriage with a girl he doesn't love but he never manhandles her, which I like and I don't want to change either.

The best point which I like is that they keep the show simple in many instances, there are no over the top interactions between Nikhil and Laajo, and one stereotype is broken that a village girl can't be smart and educated by showing Laajo as a strong girl an educated girl who loves her family and who knows her responsibilities

i love the pairing of nikhil and laajo, but what really drew me in was Laajo herself. her spunk, intelligence, and the respect she showed to all the family members that continuously disrespect her is humbling and amazing at the same time. with things like this, they tend to show the heroine as some happy go-lucky, naive, and even sometimes uneducated girl that some how gets stuck in a situation.

i love it when she sometimes just rambles on while even talking to herself, and i love her interactions with Nikhil, Rishi and Gunjan.

i also like that nikhil married her to save her reputation and at least he didn't do a complete 360 after marriage and mistreat laajo. although there are instances where he loses his head esp. when it comes to Ishaana, i do love that he trusts her and know her personality so well when everyone is against her and quick to accuse her of wrong doings.

First it's the story that is so interesting, then all the actors. Every actor has been selected matching the character. I love Lajjo and Nikhil's acting. Both are innocent but yet there is a sense of respect and honesty among the two - that attracts the audience. In addition, Nikhil's parents, grandma, sister, cousins, uncle and Lajjo's parents - all the actors are great.

I hope the story gets better and better. I look forward to watching this serial, and see how the story unfolds. I have watched the Bangla version, and have enjoyed it too.
