Nikhil knows how his family feel about Laago but yet he is not doing anything about getting Laajo out of the house.
The owners of the house are most likely Barkha and her husband.
Nikhil knows that he is hurting his family but he does not seem bothered about it, the person who he is hurting most of all is his mother..
Barkha should throw both Nikhil and Laajo out of her house, Nikhil seems to cause pain to people.
First his brother died and whether he was responsible or not he is blamed for it.
he is the cause for Ishana's attempted suicide and he has hurt Ishana's mother and all her friend
It is Laajo's fault that she is in that situation, she knew that he did not really wanted to marry her but to save her life and honour he married her. He had also told her that he had no place in his heart for her.
She ruined her first wedding.

OK! First of all just because Barkha is his mother, it does not mean he has to do everything to please her egoistic nature! Now you must be wondering, WHY? Well, because till date Nikhil has not received the love of a mother, all because Barkha is stupid enough to blame a small child for letting go of his brother's hand! (She calls him a murderer, emotionally blackmails him, and yet he should be bothered by her feelings?- Lets not forget he did try to obey her emotions when she took Lajjo back to the village based on her shitty excuses, but because he could not commit an injustice, he is not the perfect son! So, if tomorrow someone married Barkha's daughter-Aisha- and then dumps her because his mother asked him to, then would that mean Barkha would be happy? :S If so, then she as a character should not forget she too has a daughter- but alas its double standards in that house-)

Also, Ishaana wanted to kill herself and so she tried! Unless Nikhil took the knife and personally cut her veins, he is nowhere to be blamed for that! Ishaana, alone is to be blamed for her suicide, as she did not consider her mother's feelings, and thought a boy had more importance than her own mother! (People should stop victimizing themselves and make something better with their lives-)

Lajjo did not force Nikhil to marry her, Nikhil did that based on his grandfather's insistence and emotional blackmail! Had you watched the show, you would not have missed this important information! Lajjo's only fault is that she keeps behaving in an immature manner, but I guess its because she is only 18, and gradually she will mature. ---

I do not agree with you at all..how can u blame Lajjo for having the courage to not get married into that family who only cared about the scooter and dowry...Nikhil and Lajjo are not to be blamed it was all the situation that led them to be married...why shuld Nikhil pay heed to his mother's words when he knows she is wrong...don't u see any fault in Barkha and Nani how they keep interfering in their lives...no one can be blamed for suicide only the person responsible for committing this act is responsible...
Just expressing my opinions...hope u didn't get offended

I agree with you.
@ Pamela:
Ishana is responsible for her own action. In any scene I did not watch Nikhil stabbing Ishana.
Lajjo is only 18 she can't think like someone who's 28, she never asked nor forced or waited for Nikhil to marry her it was his own decision and action.
Barkha needs a psychiatrist because she loves her late son instead of Nikhil who's alive in front of her eyes..instead she was asking Akash to forgive her as if she's going to fall unconscious...(if you have watched the episode) now with the help of her mother she also began her planning and plotting.

I agree with the TM, because if you are living with your parents you have to follow the rules of that house if you can't follow the rules and get married without your immediate family attending the wedding, you should be thrown out of the house, Barkha couldn't stay in the house with Laajo, well that's what she should have done throw them both out, if he is unable to take care of his wife, he would have taken her to the grandfather you convinced him to marry her and it would be grandfather to take care of them.

Wow! you are so intent on blaming the victims that I wonder if you are really watching this show.

If you were in Barkha's situation then would you like a complete stranger to come and live in your house?
Barkha has told Nikhil that she does not want Laajo in her house so he should find alternative accommodation for her. fair is fair

It is ok for all you critics but only Barkha knows the pain she has to endure. As for those who thinks that Barkha needs psychiatric treatment , maybe she does and maybe all you you who have come to the conclusion that she needs psychiatric treatment then maybe you are all psychiatrists to diagnose a person. No one like to be labelled as having such a problem.

I said that she(Barkha the character) needs a psychiatrist that's how she was acting last time.
saying "that may be you are all Psychiatrist is to blaming the person here as member or members directly" I think it is really not done.
Everyone is entitle to their own point of view.

Barkha is not the only one in pain, afterall a father also lost a son, a brother lost his sibling and a sister lost her brother. It is purely selfish of the mother to think that she alone can feel the pain of loss. But not only that, she is inflicting this pain on her surviving son.

And you don't need to be a psychiatrist to see that Barkha needs a serious psychological help.

LOL! You are writing as if you yourself is the character Barkha! - So I shall put some questions out there too--Do you understand the pain of a son? Do you understand the pain of a father? (all of this are references to the bold part the above quote) I am not saying that Barkha is not suffering, as to lose a son is not something one can overcome easily, but she is a grown woman, Nikhil was a child! he had to live with that and continues to live with that! he has nightmare because of that every night, and yet his mother is not there to hug him in order to reassure him that she is there for him. She blames him and only him, but in reality if she wants to play the blaming card, one could question her own parenting skills that led to that event- (ACCIDENT)- Where was she when her sons were playing in the balcony? Maybe she was too busy pondering upon what her gossiping world would think about her own clothing or hair.

I think you need to not get emotionally attached to her character because firstly its just a show, and secondly its preventing you from watching the show openly!...

:@Red! I agree but then the question becomes, is Barkha the breadwinner of the house??? I think all she worries about is her status in the gossiping world, and its rather her husband who is working and earning for the family, and so far he does not seem to have a problem with Lajjo so maybe Barkha needs to rethink, the am the owner of the house dialogue.

And Barkha does require professional help in reference to her dead son, she has not mourned properly and its been way too long, and hence that aspect needs to be looked at in the show! maybe then the house would find some happiness! She did not even bother to think about Sid's character, a guy thats about to ruin her daughter's life!

See Nafisa, I agree that when you live under your parents' roof, you must adhere to their rules and regulation! Barkha only wanted to throw Laajo out, the day when Nikhil said, he too would leave the house, she interpreted that as emotional blackmail!

Barkha has an issue, but her husband does not, and from what I have seen, he is the breadwinner of the household, and hence his words ought to bear a stronger hold! And evidently, he does not mind feeding his son and daughter in law. 😆
