If you have noticed Sheila is more rude than Barkha with Lajjo. isn't this weird???
I think she's only a servant, and she's very well aware of Nikhil decision if Barkha is not able to make Nikhil change his decision of leaving Lajjo why is she acting so rudely with Lajjo.
When Barkha was upset and left, sometimes Sheila was acting as if she's the MIL of Lajjo.
what's cooking up??

Very interesting, could be something more here, then they are saying, she's acting like the MIL and she's given a lot of authority in the house, who is she exactly just a servant or something more?

Because i've had servants but they are never proud like that, when she doesn't speak to Laajo at all, even food she won't warm it for her, when Laajo was watching the sangeet she told her to stay in her room as Barkha wanted, she's like an extension of Barkha/Naani and Ayesha. Also it looks like she never married to have a family of her own, she's available even late at night in the house, she's like a housekeeper we see in English programmes and read about in some books.

I agre with you any servant in any household is not that proud as you said or rude as I described her..
comparing Sheila to Barkha it is as if Sheila who's the mother of Nikhil and Barkha is only here to fill the house. How dare she acts and decides for Lajjo.
Do you remember she left early in the morning before preparing the breakfast the previous night Lajjo was eating only rice and dholl.
Up to me she's a fishy character.

Barkha gave free rein over household to Sheila.if barkha would have acknowledged laajo as her dil then Sheila would have she's not giving her imp becs barka isn't giving..in earlier episodes I thought it was Sheila who's going to support her and not chaya .I guess Sheila modern day helper..she behaved exactly like barkha with chaya also..hope nikhil comes soon to rescue laajo or he's going to regret big time

Interesting point...I feel Sheila has a back story Barkha is dependent on her why would all the house members be so dependent on her...but yea Sheila shouldn't be so rude to Lajjo maybe in the coming days she may start warming up to her

She acts more like a PA (personal assistant) than a housekeeper. Their on behalf of the owner/boss so to speak so I guess she figures she has the right to act that way when Barka isn't around. And for those times that Barka is around she figures she's only doing what Barka would want to do herself without getting her hands dirty.

I haven't liked that one from the first day when she ignored Laajo when she questioned her about the shower. Right there and then she was showing her true colours...She figures she's way better then Laajo because she knows things about being modern etc while Laajo is considered beneath her as she's a backward village gal...

Either way, her attitude should have gotten much better after Nikhil spoke to her but it didn't and that could be a direct result of Nikhil and Barka's strained relationship. I guess she figures even if Nikhil were to mention her attitude towards Laajo it wouldn't make a difference to Barka anyway so she can continue to treat Laajo as she does the other lowly servants and continue her rule over her...

I dont like shaila at all...she too full of her self when she is only servant...I dont why she behaves like that with laajo...

if Sheila has been there for a long time ..chances are she has a lot of dirt on the family

so they keep her happy

anyone notice her makeup is the heaviest in the family? she dresses well, has her hair done...etc

she is probably more a 'governess' than maid
