Poor girl, unfortunately this is nothing new to her (getting scolded in her new home (or in her old one for that matter😆😆 -thankfully though at her parents house it was because they loved her, while now it's just because she's from the wrong side of the road as per her new in-laws). How many more reasons does Barkha need to be mad at our poor Laajo???? Wonder what punishment she'll give now...Will she kick her out of the house instead of just caging her in her room or something else entirely????

As Sid knows he was about to try to take advantage of someone that is being kept in the house as Barka's guest (that's the story he was told) he won't raise the alarm at being slapped, I don't think, so he is likely to be angry at being rejected, then something will happen, most likely the fact that Nikhil's married will come out by either Ishana saying it at the Sangeet loudly when Nikhil wants to talk to her, everyone will turn round and listen to the argument and then Sid's family will talk it will put a spanner in the works however, as you guys pointed out the marriage has business tied into the alliance for both families so it will go ahead after a lot of shaming of poor Nikhil and Ayesha's family.

I too hope it brings LaKhil close and Nikhil takes Lajjo's side. But I am a bit hesitant, because it could also backfire and have Nikhil start to doubt Lajjo too.. depending on the way Sid spins the story! Ugh! Can't wait for monday!

It could backfire as there are always more than one possible outcome in all scenario's but I am just hoping that all these "talks" between LaKhil will reinforce his belief/trust in Laajo (talks that originate from Laajo each time about telling the truth and her consequently feeling bad for lying and then always apologizing for the same to Nikhil). Hopefully since he doesn't seem to know Sid at all and does have an idea of what kind of person Laajo is this will up being a moot point...(or at least one can hope, we definitely don't want any misunderstandings btwn LaKhil as they have enough hurdles to overcome already).😊

And I for one would love for everyone to find out about LaKhil's marriage the way you proposed!😊😊 Could you imagine what this could mean for Ayesha though? If she ends up getting married and is ill treated by Sid or he continues two timing her, maybe he can through it in her face about Nikhil doing the same
