Can't wait to see Lajjo's reply

Looking forward to seeing Lajjo's reply to Inder tomorrow. I truly hope she turns down the cheque so that Barka and others can't say she was money hungry! I'm in 2 minds about the reply I want to her to give to everyone: a) keep her cool and just refuse the check or b) give it to them with both barrels firing😆.

I would prefer it if she went for the second option. I think it's high time she stopped playing puppet and stood up for herself. She has always been a feisty, brave and smart girl and it's about time she showed her in-laws her true self. So far she had been silently enduring their treatment because of respect and honour but now she needs to stand up for herself.

Personally, I would love it if she said something along the lines of 'konu kaagaz ka tukra hamre maa baoji ki izzat nai lauta sakat hai' and then tore the check. It would be brilliant! 😃

That would be an awesome reply! I truly want her to not accept the cheque and tell them why but at the same time I don't want her to say too much as we all know she's not gonna leave (or if she does it won't be permanently). She will in the end (if she leaves) have to come back into the fold of this household eventually & I don't want her to have to suffer from over stepping the "respect" boundaries as they are raised. She can tell them off as much as she wants but I hope she does it in a respective manner so that later no one can really say she was being disrespectful and then slam her parents for her lousy upbringing. (you know, kinda like how she did with Nani and her "story") This would make my day!😃

Yeah, I was really happy seeing her smiling again after so long. Only around Gunja does she seem to be "herself". I think she's tried with others but only Gunja has responded to her positively 😊. Loving Gunja's role right now, she's a sweety pie😊

I absolutely agree with you Parm! I am excited to see how Lajjo responds tomorrow! I too am hoping for fireworks and think the reply given by Couch_Potato would be amazing! I really really hope she stands up for herself and does not take this insult lying down!
