hello everyone 😃

*waves*

thanks to Priya Di and the other powers that be our forum has its Dev Team...so...its time to get down to business...for weeks (if not months) ...we've had pretty much the same problem...now with the DT set...the forum is going to get into some serious spring cleaning and organizing...

here are the main things that we need to work on together to keep the forum clean and clutter free...

1. NO topics for moving up in rank on IF. Meaning, if you or someone on the forum goes from newbie to goldie or senior member etc., please DO NOT post separate topics to congratulate them or to announce it.

2. AVOID repeat topics. Please check at least 3 pages back to see if another member posted a topic similar to the one you want to post (ex: new promos, articles etc.)

**NOTE: any topic not in accordance to these guidelines will be closed immediately*

Please keep these rules in mind while on the forum

now on to some more encouraging news...

in the past...we've had two other problems that we seem to have over come...one which was new threads for new members introducing themselves..and two was chatting in various topics...THANK YOU to everyone for complying by the rules...we solved two problems just like that...so yay...give yourselves a round of applause...and just for a reminder...please see these threads if you or someone needs it

Thanks Jaz for putting this up, it was much needed.

There was just too much clutter in the forum and it was really unfair to those who have made analysis, FFs or discussion topics in the forum, which were always pushed back. Sometimes even the updates are pushed back to page 3.

I hope that we can all have a great time in the forum . Jaz wld you consider doing your infamous comic relief once in a while here?? 😃

Thanks, Jaz, for putting this up.

I have one suggestion - since there are people who are either newcomers, or people who watch this serial after a long break, can we have a thread that describes the story so far? It needn't be updated very frequently - maybe once a month is fine. Idea being that anybody new to it can easily go on that and read the complete story up to a recent point, and from there, just read the daily updates for more recent news. In other words, it needn't be much detailed, since details would be in the daily updates, just an outline of the story so that the flow makes sense would work.

Here are some examples of what I'm describing

-||- BAVD :: Story so far -||- (NO COMMENTS)
-ll- RS: Complete Story -ll-

In one case, since the serial is over, you have the complete story, while in the other, you have the story up to a point (admittedly not recently). But this is the idea - make it a no comments thread, and just have volunteers update it to a recent point, so that anybody reading it will be up to speed very quickly, and will be better able to follow the daily updates, rather than dig somewhere in the Help desk or other such places.

roshni had come with idea of news letter and there was some step there too to do weekly summary something like that

rosh where r u need ans on this yaar 😆

Vrish...idea toh mast hai...i was thinking something similiar as well...will definitely get that set up...any volunteers for summarizing the whole story so far...he he...

CB...that news letter thing was left huh...lets try starting it up again...give me a few days...laptop isnt cooperating and that is where i have pretty much everything...inshallah it will be fixed by this weekend

CB, I too remember that thread too. When I had put up a sign up sheet. Only two people signed up for the task! 😳 So I thought people are busy and left it uncalled! (Jaz, remember PKCM's?😆)

And @ Vrish: Isn't that "story so far" part of the Archive Mansion!😳

some ppl were asking about it and i told jaz and she told me that u r err not free for some time 😆

I remember when the serial started I had done an introduction thread. I dunno where it is, so maybe that can be used for the Story so far as well.

CB, I vanished only in March, but this thread was put way before that na!😳

😆 I still have that thread. You can see the volunteers!😳 We still can go ahead with it!😳
