As an avid watcher of GKD I really want to ask a few questions to the writers in the belief that some one connected to the show would read this post..

As a show which showed so much potential and caught the viewers attention from the word go GKD has come down so much..Was there actually any reason to bring this illogical track at all when there were so many tracks which could have been developed..The writers should have realised that the show's popularity is purely based on the lead pair.. Instead of playing on that strenght they keep showing RV..😡I for one can't stand the sight of him....Of all people on earth now we have RV come between Avita..😡 Arpita has been lying consistenlty about RV inspite of him telling her his real motives and is out to destroy her marriage..There should be some iota of realism & we have Avi turning literate & illeterate from time to time..Cinematic liberty is fine but GKD writers overdo it a little too much..😕

When you watch a television show you don't want your blood pressure to shoot up in anger & thatz clearly happening here.🤔The target audience of GKD is women & young girls & both sects watch TV for relaxation.We are definitely looking forward to seeing RV & Bahuji being brought to justice instead of seeing Avita suffer again & again for no fault of theirs..😔Therez never a peaceful moment in their lives..For being such loyal viewers we definitely deserve to be heard. and now the TRPS are also telling the story..😳.

And finally I for one would definitely like to see the SR😳

As promised, here I am....(I do keep some of my promises😉, right?)

Laxmi, you disappointed me......I was looking for the letters "SR" in the first line itself ....didn't find then until the very end😉😆😆😆...joking, don't mind it please.😃

This is my humble opinion, and I know many of you may not agree with it. At the risk of getting a whack or two on her behind, Vista presses on😃

This show was blessed by host of really gifted actors, gifted writer and it didn't exactly hurt that the lead actors were so easy on the eye too😉😊 It was gritty, it was real and the locales, language, dialogue delivery...everything was spot on, really faithful to the sociaty and setting the show was supposed to reflecting. But over and above all this, what really pulled the viewers in was the unique, silent love story. Somewhere, I think, it touched a chord in each one of us and we became so enmeshed in it that we started to dismiss the clear indications from the team, as to where this was headed.

I mean, one can't get any clearer than "this show is inspired by Othello/Omkara/Shukla" which is what we heard Ashish and Mr. Bhushan say in more than one interview. Many of us had been talking about Othello when we heard Papa Rai say "jab ye apne baap ki nahin huyi, to tumhari kya hogi?"

So, I think we should at least acquit the CV's of the charge of springing this upon us, without any warning. This was always on the cards, we had been warned/informed and I can understand Ashish's frustration, as evident in his tweets.

This show is different, it is a love story, but it is a tragic love story.....and ultimately, it is the story of one man's journey through life and the consequences of the decisions he makes. He loved passionately, married the love of his life and now may end her life in a fit of passion, all because of his character flaw.

The absence of SR is another clue that the CV's probably intend to remain true to Othello......though not explicitely stated, it is certainly implied in the play that Desdemona and Othello never consummated.

All of the above is not in any way, meant to excuse all the plot contrivances and unbelievable situations that the CV's have employed to bring the characters and story to this point. For those, they ought to be called out.........no excuse for that, at all.

Oh, yes, one more thing: the optimist in me wants to believe in Sowjanya's hypothesis that Avi will attempt to kill Arpi, take her for dead, but she will not actually die and come back later to expose BJ and her tricks.

Haan...ek aur baat yaad aayee😳...........please people, don't take that word "anpadh-ganwar" so literally...........it is often used for someone who doesn't have formal education in schools and colleges....does not always mean "illiterate" So Avi called himself anpadh when compared to Arpi, who has done some college. So fo course, he can read and write....just is not formally educated.

Do u think this track is illogical even after Ashish tweeted what they showing current track is not or an ordianary ppl but its about some special ppl. he already told that the character(present track)is of othello so we have to bear with it and im thinking this track will show how the evil wins over the weak and naive,taking advantage of their innocence and will always try to exploit their lives without making them doubting thier intentions. We know what kinda of world Avi and Arpi were born and brought up, how their lives were weakend by circumstances and the ppl, will be also strengthened by the some circumstances or tests or turbulations to face the reality with brave and spirit and intelligence by overcoming the wickedness and shrewedness of whom they trust.This track only helps them to see to what extent the evil can go with their lives and lead to another track of revealing why BJ and RV did it, which is part of the story. Me agree with the CV's( though i dislike this track ),coz at the moment the Avita's love been put to test.U can say something else should be bring to show it.But in marital relationship nothing brings a kind of misunderstanding or cracks except betrayal or unfaithfulness. This is one way they want to show othello and at the same time what kinda weak person he is who believes everything so blindedly whether its BJ or Arpita.If he loves someone he never think about any thing except believing what they showing or telling to him. As we c him since the beginning of the show how he been very obident Boy to BJ or Ammaji, from whom he learned repect for women and helping the poor (robinhood type ). But he always believed what he been doing is good. Never ever tried to questioned anyone "why". But Now CV's trying to bring out the truth by bringing his brain back " what he should do and dont " as part of the story.If everything went well how should he knows to think on his own ? He needs a jor ka jatka for the full functioning of his brain. This is the track that brings out his personna which helps him to know the truth by himself and they just want to show how the circumstances or incidents of ones life make one stronger mentally and spritually.so far in Avi's life everything went very well ,no problems, except LS (coz of BJ)and RV. And As we see the lead villian is BJ who is the female character who is much stronger than anyone in the show must be weakend by exposing her truth. This track is kinda of high point of BJ's and RV's evilness or shrewedness which will pave the path for their distruction slowly at the same time making the Avi and Arpi strong through the tests. This track gives the knowledge of whom to trust and strengthen their bonding in the future , as we in real life do see how the bonding of wife and husband grows more and more with the tests of their married life ,never fading with time.

We always know that a story of a show is fiction but feel to see it in real sense. But as Ashish tweeted to watch it as a story , i did stop thiniking it in real sense. But like to see how they make the weak to be strong and how the strong will become weak by their evil deeds.

When it comes to SR im never expecting or hoping from CV's as i always feel its the grand finale of this show or they show the leads dead without their SR.(dont throw me chappals , boots , or welllis on me pleaaaaaaaaase😆)Some times i did feel Ashish like this kind of ending as he is someone exceptional from others ,always want to do something different regardless of viewers interest thinking to show that was never shown on Telly ever before.

Well we should not raise our BP i know b'coz it just a fiction story but we dont do that ourself the anger and BP both rise itself watching these types of track.
And truely saying before gkd i had never liked a serial in that extent that sometimes i even forgot avdesh&arpita are just two characters on a show and not somebody who is real living in lallanpur.

Funny but true,now when i had stopped watching the show whenever its 8:30pm i always see the watch and dat half an hour seems quiet long,but i can't just tolerate the show wid such a track.

Very well written............i somewat agree dat Avi 2 get his Brains back has 2 go through all d hardships n heartbreaks n all n may b after loosing d one he loves d most (Arpi) he will get his senses back n will start thinkng but the test of love he has been put through , if he kills Arpi how will their love triumph over d Evils i.e. Bhootni n Rv as Avi will b alone if he kills Arpi 😭😭. I guess this track is gettng him ready 4 d Big dhamaka he wud get later i.e. Bhootni True Face........

@ bold - yup i agree, Ashish wants 2 do smth different n experimental than others n not d regular stuff .......

We all know this is a story of a goonda who runs parallel government thinking whatever he been doing is always right, whether its hitting , killing or helping poor or whatever he been doing is always appreciated by his surroundings but did never questioned by his acts except its BJ's interest or o intervene. Killing Arpi will be the turning point of his life make him or show him how blinded he was when beliving or trusting or loving ppl ,also compells him to do( something that devastates him as well) to do such cruel deed killing Arpi thinking his wife is unfaithful to himThen he will repent for what he did and he is going to realise what influence BJ had in his life ,what he was and is and he should be. ..Me feel this is what happens when a goonda like Avi felt betrayed by his wife and this kinda nasty behaviour u can expect from him .And this incident in his life will change him totally make him stronger than ever and bringing his true senses back which been taken away since BJ's childcare. Im never ever think the CV's gonna kill the female protaganist but make us believe that Arpi killed by Avi. But Avi will be alone ? without Bootni? no way. Now we will going to c (after this track ends) how BJ going to make her faidha when Arpi will be killed.

m being silent n commenting wen needed 4 me 2 do so. I agree dat d track going on will bring a new side of Avi out n Bhootni if Arpi is killed will definitely take advantage (how can she leave such a golden chance 😡😡) i mean alone as in w/o his love - Arpi n wen he comes 2 know d truth , he will repent but it will b late but still he will emerge strong n wud definitely feel guilty n also wud know or learn to recognize d true faces of ppl around him. N i agree b it a gunda or normal person gv such situation they wud doubt d wife n get angered n take hasty step w/o knowing d entire truth n later repent. But wud repenting get d person u love so much back ???????😭😭 😭😭 or wud v see Arpi's ghost coming n talkng 2 Avi ??

U spoke my mind n heart in ur first post 😃 We all always knew from the first day tht uts an inspiration of Othello. But got so much involved in the silent cute pure love story tht started assuming tht the cvs wud never take it the Othello way n change it as its a daily soap. But thts the uniqueness of this show. I mean we do see kitchen politics, saas bahu drama, hubby wifee catfights in all other shows but showing the results of extreme Love and jealousy is the USP of this show and we all love it for this.

For me the story ws going only in circles since the last few weeks or rather months. The real story/drama begins now. 😊
