not only in this show but also in most of the eastern myth & lores & storys isnt any respect for women ! woman always shud prove her purity . in some occasions she must sell her chastity for the sake of saving her family esteem. Although bitter and painful, it is reality!

I knew RVS will stoop this level. He planned all this for revenge. I think I need a break from GKD. I am not interested to watch Othello and Romeo & Juliet kahani at this moment.

Okay, the way I'm reading this is that RV is waging psycho-warfare on Avi, and doing it by not touching Arpi, but making her spend that night. So presumably, the wedding goes ahead, but Avi is made suspicious. At least this is better than Jyoti, where they had the lead female have her ex's baby. So RV gets some revenge @ least against Avita.

In return for this, is he going to smoothly take Shikha in as his bahu?

The writers have lost it..SO does this mean that each time any man calls Arpita to spend a night to save her husband's izzat she'll go!!!! What a joke..There is a sanctity attached to a marraige & once thatz broken therez nothing left of the marraige..Foolish writers..How would a man ever have any respect in society after the wife agrees to sleep with another man??? The writers need a kick on their backside... What is left of the marraige after that fools!!!
