@red, No he never hid behind bhauji....maybe at first as a young teen while learning everything but the Avdesh we sae from the 1st eppy never hid behind her....he is answerable to her, to some extent but that is all. Bhauji, actually would like it if he is hiding behind her. Being indebted is something differen from hiding.....and yes he is very much indebted to her for taking care of him and the haveli during a that traumatic time...in his mind since then to now, she is strong and always has the answers, that she is right and he should be listening to her.....all that will change.

And I so agree about Avi's expresson....as I said he looked murderous (and maybe slighlty stunned at his situation) that things had come to this point where his sweet wife (innocent as anything) saying she will take care of him!!😆👏....that was a best scene, his look.

Hi Dreamy,
Very well written and again as expected from you. Yes now this will be very good and never to forget time that Avita will spend together and get to know each other much more and better. This is will now be a stepping stone for their relationship as it would go much deeper and understandable. Arpita has proved herself in certain ways and avdesh needs to realize all that now. BTW did you read my thoughts 'The Better Half'?? What do you think? You didn't say anything about it. I was expecting some comments from you though!!!!

I don't think his will forget his pratigya in the jungle...if they were there for days.

He is too principled and has his own sense of honour....he will be tempted and that will make him regret and lead him on the path to reform, the longing to have her and he cannot, he will see her suffering all because of him.....this will lead to him thinking what did he ever give her in their marriage, what did she gain? nothing but pain and tears.....he will be sorrowful...all powerful emotions leading on to a revelation that he needs to make changes...

If he forgets his pratigya...what is he?..just another man that makes a promise and promptly forgets all about it. I for one don't want him to forget his promise, have a roll around on the jungle floor with Arpita😳.....I rather he came to a decision, took care of her, bond more with her and then once back at the haveli...then they can have a SR when he thinks he can - honourably.

wow wonderfully put and I agree. Arpi is definitely the other side of what bhauji could have been. And you touched something wonderful, Avdesh had said Bhauji is the devi of their haveli....but I have a feeling Arpita is rapidly taking over that title. Not only for her love for Avdesh and trying to save him but because she is looking to the future, to the longevity of the khandan and the Thakur name - in the right way, with eyes on the moral and ethics all human beings need to strive for. That is something bhauji seems to be completely lacking in, in fact seems to be blind to.

I hope that once back at the haveli, Avdesh does not succumb to Bhauji's guilt and pressure...that is the only thing that clouds his mind at the moment, it really narrows his vision.

Where is your thoughts 'The Better half'?...haven't seen it otherwise I would have commented. I couldn;t log onto IF yesterday during the update...so gave up in the end..

I think Avita will deepen their love and bond. They understand each other very well, unfortunately Avdesh's hands are tied at the moment so he is helpess to reassure her, tell her everything she wants and needs to hear...and off course he is also not ready for changing himself....not yet anyway but he will be soon.

I hope bhauji does not insist on coming to look for them....but I think she might try, she really wanted to go after them yesterday and only Pandit stopped her.....lately her emotions have been ruling her.....
