I just wrote a kind of essay on Arpita's background. What she has seen growing up and how her early experiences in life have made her the person she is. Sort of an explanation for her current attitude and actions.

Her once sparkling eyes have nothing now but sadness and fear in them at the though of losing Avi in an encounter with another gang or police.
