The segment today, showing Avi making a pratigya to avenge his brother's death....( and why use the word pratigya...I think the use of the word was deliberate...)
But most importantly, both Avi and his bhouji were selfish in their own way.
Bhouji....we know the witch was planning to put the spoke in the marriage anyway...but bravo, she knew Avdesh better than we did. She changed her clothes, to white, let her hair down...circled around him with a fire in the front (for a moment I thought she was doing the saat pera..😆)...and hey presto, her little devar was twisted around her finger....🤢
Avdesh...I am surprised, he immediately (from the segment anway) knelt and took a vow to avenge his brother's death😳....Arpi comes running and he stops her cold...... There was no softness or even any acknowledgment at all that this girl is now part of his life..... She had just joined him for seven lifetimes and possibly more, threw everything side for him and he put her aside without thinking about it....If they show him thinking about it, before taking the vow, I will be appeased a bit, but not much....😕
I know this is the story of a gunda - by the clues strewn around, I wrote a thread on the fight for Avdesh soul because it was going to happen - but I didn't realise it would take this route and so quickly...... Thinkling about it, it makes sense...keep him edgy, something to fight for (the quickly he avenges the death, sooner he can come back to Arpi)...and then there is us viewers who are kept on the edge as well......but what happens to the one who is kept waiting...??..I think Arpi too needs to change a bit, get a bit more determined and more stronger...match her man's every step with her own feminine magic...😉😳
But I feel for Arpi and Avdesh. His life is difficult as it is and it seem's it became even more difficult and painful now. With his boatload of regret, he can add Arpita's name on it now as well.😔
