it's the creatives who have sick imagination.
bhouji's character is a fictional construct. it's the creatives who have given her these attributes.
what are they trying to show through her character? that a strong self-assertive woman is necessarily going to be a sexual predator? that an ideal female should be soft, submissive and dependent like arpita? that true love is when a man protects a woman?
such negative stereotypes of women have been prevalent for ages. it's time to break these regressive moulds. bhouji's past is a tragic one. i would have enjoyed the show if her character had been treated with respect.
