Drinking and driving.

I don't understand what happens to teenagers once they drink alcohol. i guess they get something known as dutch courage where they are willing to do something they wont do in their normal sense. They do stupid things. Do you not realize once you consume alcohol you no longer have control over your actions. Do you think this is acceptable? Running over innocent people and getting away with it? What are your views on this?
