Okay so I like to keep in touch with the new shows coming out and as of this morning there are 2 articles about a new show coming out on SP in October for 26 episodes on an army background. Some snippets below.

So this has me concerned. Technically with a 26-episode run, GG has to end sometime in November or December. But if this show is slated to launch in October does that mean that GG will end early?

Of course this news hasn't yet been confirmed by producers or the channel, but I think I'll believe these articles.

Now, the makers are planning an interesting finite series for Star Plus.

As per reliable sources, "The show is still in its nascent stages, and it will be a 26 episodes show. The backdrop of the tale will have an army setup, and will depict an engrossing story of the army personnels and their lives."

But fate definitely had a different plan as now Harshad Arora has joined hands with his first producer to play the lead in his ambitious project Swadheenta.

The show will go floors soon and will be extensively shot in Delhi. It is slated to launch sometime in October.

^ Tfs Shreya! :D
I'm totally a fan of finite shows like Everest, Reporters, Gulmohar Grand, Mahakumbh! 😃
Looking forward to finite series having army background!

Shreya I also heard about Swadeenta. But I heard it is about legal battles and has Gurmeet Choudary in it and expected telecast is Nov- Dec only as per the article I read. Cant find it now. I also had felt it will be replacing GG only. GG by this month end completes 15 epi and it has another 11 epi as per plan. But not sure will SP give the entire 11 epi to the team.
Let us hope for the best, but to be frank I am prepared for the worst. It's a miracle no confirmed articles have come yet regarding GG ending. So that makes me feel atleast we will have 3-4 epi more which is frankly speaking much more than what I expected. 😕

^ These articles were on TC. They're saying that Harshad Arora is the lead and GC had just shot a pilot episode to see if it was worth it or not. It's still saying by October the show should be ready to go on air, but no one from the producers or the channel is confirming anything yet.

Surprisingly I'm not to surprised either. Yesterday's episode went rather fast though it keeps threatening to be a drag now. We did see some movement in the Anirudh-Neil-Annie relationship with Neil standing by Annie and Anirudh also starting to look for the real truth to show Jaitley.

I read the article but it didn't cross my mind that it would be replacing GG. Storywise, we are already half way through and if its really going to make way for the new show, the makers better start working towards the story instead of ending it in a rush.

^ The idea came to my mind when I read it's 26 episodes, a finite series, airing on Star Plus, and starting in October. Star Plus has a record of ending 26 episode finite weekly series in just 18 to 20 episodes. In October that would make anywhere between 18 to 20 episodes for GG as well. And usually this news doesn't come out until a week or two before the show is about to end.

Most probably Akku has completed shooting for GG, so its very unlikely that sudhir sir would think about reshooting the end...if at all GG is ending before 26, SP's editors would show their charishma 😆
