gulaal thinking abt what kesar said abt his fall sitting beside keasr who is sleeping...she sees that kesar has a fever and while she brings water from the other room...she over hears jK, raman, sudha words...jk says how can pb reject dushy in front of villagers...sudha sks her to speak low...jk says she cant do that..raman blames jk for all this...he says we have to think what we ahve to do...raman says if our first plan do not work..we knew that pb will send gulaal away from here for sure...if gulaal leaves 40% will go with her...Mb is in hospital n we dont knew whether he will come back or not...we can change his vasiyat behind him...vasnt is gone,..gulaal will also leave...now pb n kesar will be left here...pb doesnot have any thing in vasiyat...kesar koh hum kabhi bhi manage kar sakthe hai...as rasthe mein toh accidents hothe rehthe hai..how can some one say what hapened with vasant will not happen woth kesar...gulaal all shocked listening this...n thinks that they will harm kesar n pb for money n thinks what ever happened with vasant was an accident or did anyone do this intensionally...while she is thinking abt this she accidentally falls some thing and raman, JK n sudha turn their faces...

I personally think that the CVs wanted it to be Gulaal's decision...you see it had given that grey edge to her character...It was one decision which could be open to all kind of interpretations...It could be rated as heights of sacrifice, bravery and courage and commitment ...and also as weirdo, high handedness and totally a sham on Gulaal's part! They wanted that edge for this character...that is why 'Gulaal' na?? Zindagi ka har ek rang!
And if it would have been Kesar's idea initially..however childish that may have sounded...he could not have told her years later that 'in here the one who has committed the crime is doling out the punishment who has been the victim..' the dialogue when he goes to bring her back and she talks about paap ki bhavana and he questions her right back!!!!

Gulaal the great doing something wrong..for the person who was so right for her...and ultimately her wrong decision was turned into the most right one by her Mr. Right!
