Batch 5:

Fever gone...and a relieved smile on "Dr" Kesar's face...lol

But still bossing her around..."Doodh pee le"...main puch nahin raha, BATAA raha hoon"...lol

I love this set of glances exchanged

And I LOVE this last bit from this clip...it's a personification in a sense of that basic paradox to Kesar...where he puts her on a pedestal...the way he's literally at her feet in this portion as he's dabaaoing her legs...and the way he turns to smile at her...then falls asleep at her feet and Gulaal wakes up to see this and smiles with tears in her eyes...so touched...so here she is the Goddess in every way and him the worshiper...that soft flow of affection, of warmth was so rare in his eyes in those days and it's especially touching in this scene...so here she is up on the pedestal for him again...only to get knocked off again very soon😆

Also amazing the serenity in that smile as she sleeps...as if she's finally found some peace...now that she has HER Kesar back.

Ok, I could only manage to take caps for the first clip...took me a lot of time so will try to get to the second clip later.

one of my favorite scenes😳...well it has to be...its some thing like a rain in a drought land of their eventful confrontations...

Scene 1: kesar cold behavior trying very hard(which he cant do..lol) to not show any concern for her while bringing water to her, n her nakras for that...her question why is he so concerned abt her..when he himself says that he doen't have any...his showing of his haq on her just saying will you drink the water or not? ofcourse she has to give in for that...how can she avoid it...when the attention is from her kesar...his concern for her is so well acted by NB in that scene when she is with closed eyes...he cant show how her pain is effecting him...but he had to give in when it comes to her..lol...there is no guess that he can get that she didnt have the medicine...he so understands her very well...the 10 yrs gap between them was never a barrier for them to understand each other...n that little smile on her face when he is searching for the medicine...his demanding talks to take the medicine n ofcourse his scoldings abt her neglegence, abt the family leaving her alone...but we dont have any issues on that kesar😉...its so couple talks between them😳...well coming to my fav bit...the way she asks where was he till now...their silent talks through eyes...OMG thats the scene which hooked me to love this couple...no need of any words..just simple n small gestures which make them far apart from other so called couples...her happiness in getting back her kesar is so well shown by MP...though she is weak, we can see that satisfactory smile on her face after he leaves from the room...just loved MP here...Kesar's training for future in kitchen was good😆...the way he checks her forehead n that small smile on his face as if now her fever is down...n again his haq abt asking her to drink milk...jabbi dekho dhood ki irdh girdh hi goomthe rehthe hai dono😆...well that smile on her smile while drinking and that exchange of eyelocks...how can some one do not fall flat for them...his seva for her n his content smile seeing her in sleeping peacefully which reflects on his face n makes him peaceful...gulaal seeing kesar sleeping at her legs...she has that content big smile on her face as she has atlast got back her kesar...well you dont know girl that its just for some time...

Scene 2: he wakes up n he had to had to see her first...then comes in the lover boy who as he always does just staring at her while she was doing her puja in open hair...she brings tea for him...well why dont she continued that after their friendship...her answering for his question that now he is grownup n that she should not force him to anything...well what abt talli marriage fiasco darling...n then the compliment of the epi...bilkul mann se...he always does that...anything whether it is love or it is hate he does wholeheartedly...who would knew this more than her...they are just in the conversation just like there are no issues between them n still he has that attention on her touch...

One wonders is he the same person who was asking all the questions for gulaal just a couple of hours before in the letters...who was blaming her for keeping a secret from him for the last 10 years...but heres the change in attitude just for her...only for her...how can he see her in such a pain n cannot react to it...One wonders these are the same two people who are not having a peaceful talk from the last few days...how are apart for 10yrs...who are searching for their own partners in crime from the day he has come to talsagra...but no they are like that...they can just forget what ever was between them in the last few days and just be like the way they used to be in some 10 yrs ago...

Kudos to NB,MP n special mention for DOP...he made the scene so soulful n scenetic...

Nur...need to say...Awesome caps n i am watching them for the 3rd time now😳...waiting for the next batch...

K, I am late but will still chip in with some rants

I think most of the things hav been pointed out by Maz and minizz and I will be just repeating that I just loved how Kesar fought with himself no to soften towards Gulaal but seeing Gulaal like this he seriously can't help himself. As rightly pointed out how first he keeps the jug with force to wake Gulaal up contrast to how affectionately he calls out "Gulaal" when he bring the 'garam doodh'. That is Kesar- it just takes a moment to switch over to his real self which has been caged inside due to the anger and dilemma over years. And, Gulaal at first she is wary of him and even asks dat why is he doing this 'coz he doesn't give a damn abt her but then the authority- the one we say apno si zidd, from Kesar...she succumbs. The million dollar dialogue is "Kahan Tha Tu ab tak"- this one's used 2 tyms more in GK scenes(Gulaal coming back for the family once and of course the last scene). They are such free spirited and pure hearted souls but situations have made them put up a facade, they can only remain true to their nature only wen they are together. That's why they are constantly looking out for each other consciously or unconsciously. I also love the constant eye talks both have during the scene. I have to applaud the DOP, I love how Kesar was shot with the tulsi in the foreground and the shot focussing on him as he sees Gulaal rejuvenated and doing her pooja. Just matches with the pure bliss in his face and his unadulterated emotions and love towards Gulaal. The last bit was really cute-Kesar amused that finally Galool ne haar bhi maan li in the doodh Vs Chai debate. And when Gulaal says to seva badi acchi karta hai- ek dum mann se- u can see Kesar blushing...awww how cute. This is one of my most fav KG scenes. Kudos to the writers for a brilliant scene and of course MP and NB enacted so brilliantly- they seriously lived the roles Gulaal and Kesar!

Nur,lovely caps.you have captured each and every expression in that scene.It's so beautiful.

I love this cap a lot.Sulky Gulaal is a treat and this trait of hers comes out only in front of Kesar and no one else.

look at their happy faces.I loved this bit so much

It's so true Nur that Kesar has put Gulaal on a pedestal yet he is the only one who dares to point out her faults to her.the last scene was very beautiful.Once again Nur thanks for the lovely caps.loved them all and your comments on them make it all the more enjoyable.😊

@MR21-I agree with you that we were thankful to the family for leaving Gulaal alone otherwise how would we get such a beautiful scene😃and yes Kesar is a very passionate person so he does everything' mann se' especially if it concerns Gulaal.enjoyed reading your comments😊

@Prachurya-the contrast in kesar's behaviour was shown so beautifully.It is so true they never restrain themselves in front of each other and that's the reason for all the drama and angst between them.they behave in that extreme way only towards each other but it just takes a small gesture and then everything is once again back to normal.love their bond.

Yaar I will never deny my mega pankhagiri...especially for THIS scene...😆😆...but seriously it took me ages to do these this time...there is SO much in this scene...too many nuances to capture...and I'm getting scolded at home for staying up late to do these *sigh* Kya kya karna padta hai GK ke liye😆

Oh wow I didn't even think about that until now...so right yaar...so this is another amazing dialogue like 'aur tu' that was used various times in interesting ways...except this dialogue got tied in to the very end...to always have that dual meaning..."Kahaan tha tu Kesar"...Gulaal always searching for HER Kesar at different points in the story...ahhh the genius of the writers *sigh*

I love that Minnie cap...that is definitely her cutest smile...you want to just go in and pull her cheeks there..😆

And agree about the DOP's camera angles...such an unusual position...one would think ki you can see the bulb of the lamp..and consider it to be a bad shot...but it turns out to be awesome here.

@Varna kya..I knoww...if only she had asked him here..lol..

@'don't give me that'...😆..here he's ranting away but she defends everyone...always taking the back seat..that she can get through any difficulty be it physically or otherwise...but fortunately Kesar is her anchor, even though she doesn't realize it soon..

Also loved the moment when he tries to shush her...he's not really touching her face...it's all about the near touch..so adorable..

@the last bit of the scene...very well said...he sure put her on a pedestal, she occupied the no.1 spot always...and again I love the way the scene is shot from afar..where there is no real focus on him pressing her legs...but you can still make out..very subtle..

look at their happy faces.I loved this bit so much Haina...and these happy moments were so rare and hence so precious...this one possibly being the most precious one of them all...we hardly ever got them being this serene and happy together again.

Just continuing on with my babbling...I think someone else already pointed this out...maybe you or Maz...but seriously how amazing it is that they can slip in and out of so many modes in the space of this scene...there is the bossiness...there is sulking...then there is joy that just keeps growing especially for Gulaal seeing him there for her, caring for her...it's like a BALM to her soul...possibly the one thing that REALLY heals her...they are just SO much to each other that I find myself at a loss for words to even start describing if I wanted to...and the final bit with her smile is just MAGIC...the way she looks at him when he puts his finger on her lips and then slowly smiles...I love that moment so much...we never really got her SO relaxed around Kesar after that...right now she was just basking in the knowledge that her Kesar was very much there and back at last...ofcourse later on she went into full on retreat into shell mode post the ultimate PARESHANI scene😆
