It was such a romantic episode na and your caps are just 👏 MB's family is really affectionate (minus JK, Giga and Sudhi) but I have to say that Vasant's and Kesu's level of concern just stood out. Poor Vasant, its like he was not even breathing till he saw his Gulaal stir and I don't know what it is about Kesu but he has never shied away from crying in front of people. I keep saying this, Kesu has inherited the best and the worst from his family. He has a mean temper, he can be a complete emotional wreck, he is sensible, he can be so foolish, caring, open, honest...he has all of Vasant's wholesome goodness and he has all of Dushy's negativity (makes me think of the time when he agreed to marry Talli and literally put Gulaal through all that mental torture through his antics).
you are right ..Mb's family always has been open and welcoming, goes to show how Vasant inherited his goodness, his ability to winover people even in enemy land and to rise above the Xenophobic enemity and think of people at large ...humanity before individuality...Dushty was Dushty!! He had JK's sharp mind and tongue, and an evil edge of his own, spoilt further by the glamour potion of Sudhi bin budhi's desperate attention seeking tactics...Kesu's temper was though quite different than Dushty...His temper harmed him and his own people more than others...That is what Gulaal told him and that is what he realized when he revealed Dushty's secret!! But one thing is that Dushty's temper although the eviler, did not frighten people,...Gulaal stood up against him all the time when he had displayed his evil edge! But Kesar's temper?? Tauba Tauba...Everybody scurried and looked for cover when he got one of his bouts!!😆

So, madam wakes up and obviously pins her blurry vision on Vasant. Loved the attitude Kesu gave to Dushy...again got a glimpse of Dushy's concern and maybe it was just me but I saw sense of satisfaction in Dushy's eyes when he realized that his muse was hail and hearty?? Again, got the feeling that he was a completely smitten man...How symbolic that Kesu insisted on breaking Gullu's fast na? Loved the way he did not give the glass to PB and made it a point to be the first person to give Gullu a taste of her fruit of labor...after all she had toiled so hard to bring that water to the village...
I Just loved how you put it 👏 I never looked at it this way!! That he was giving back what she had toiled hard for!! Like he gave back her childhood, like he gave her back, her honour in the house, which she had toiled hard to preserve...It started with this simple glass of water!! Dushy!! Yes you can say he is smitten ..and yes ofcourse he is happy..how could he have flirted with an unconscious Gulaal😆
You know, I was actually surprised that Kesu left the room and left Vasant and Gullu alone. Oh, the looks exchanged between Gullu and Vassy when she learnt that he was fasting with her...epic! I know that people keep saying that Gul Vas romance lacked a spark but honestly speaking, I feel that there was a maturity to their romance and that was the USP of Gulaal Vasant. That entire scene where they were feeding each other, no words spoken and yet speaking volumes through their eyes...that was the way Vasant Gulaal were. That scene was just so beautiful...they did not take their eyes off of each other...and both were teary eyed...Vasant of course could not believe his luck on finding the girl of his dreams and fulfilling the dream for his village...and Gulaal could not believe that she had been able to fulfill the dreams of the man she was hopelessly in love with...
Yes...!! The brat and Famous KMH did leave them alone...i think at this stage he has started seeing them as one..it is later that Gulaal dominates his mind, even more than Vasant at one stage..although that stage was not fully developed, and Vassy died...
@ Bold..Precisely...VG romance did not have the angst and that push me pull me kind of spark...like KG but it had its own flavour, it was not an easy meet too..with the enemity of the whole of two villages and families and Duggu and all to be considered as hindrance!! but there was like no need to announce the romance...they both knew..Hell EVERYONE knew without being told...and poor Kesar!! always had to shout from rooftops to make everyone realize😆

I loved the Garbha number! The song, the colors, the cinematography, lighting...it was just lovely! Again, so many people around them but Vassy and Gullu just had eyes for each other...I was thinking - wow!! the village has actually come up with a song for her...must be such an amazing feeling na? If I was MB, I would have named a chowk or a tree after her...😆 Again, loved Dushy's expressions when he was unabashedly gazing at Gullu! There is this bindaas, not a care in the world thing about Dushy that I really like...Sudhi was trying to rile him up but he actually looked amused...any other guy would have got all ruffled up on hearing Sudhi's chatter but Dushy did not take his eyes off Gulaal and had that - dogs will bark- look!
Gulaal deserved all whatever the village did for her and yes MB managed to find the lyricists and musicians and dancers in like a day's time😆 ...Since this morning whatever channel I have surfed, Manoj Joshi is there playing some character...And I am like WOW...the guy is everywhere and such good actor!!! Dushy is Dushy...in a way..as you said, Kesar has imbibed this in himself na?? I mean he used to stare at Gulaal unabashedly too...and during his suicide mission (marriage to Talli) days, he had toh bas been the ultimate besharam like Dushy right now has...Dushy knows Sudhi's weakness..and he is reveling in her taunts because that means she cared enough to let his attention diversion effect her..he does enjoy to be the ladies man..See another thing Kesu took away from Dushty😆
I was ROFL when I read your comments on her nail polish...waah waah Gullu!! Trend setter that she is...will repeat her chaniya choli's but won't leave home without her nail polish!! I can imagine her rushing home to pack after convincing Poonam and making sure she throws in her make up kit along with 10-12 bottles of nail polish!! Did you guys say it was Elle 18?? Rasipur ke kiraane ki dukaan mai Elle 18?????????🤣hahahah ! Iknow I actually tried to read and it did feel like it was ELLE!8...and even I laughed out loud at the nail polish...I even told Chaitu tht we need to check Camel's toenails... he might have also painted himself..the poor guy dragged all this all the way from Rashipur to Talsagra😆

The infamous balcony again! I used to like that balcony but kind of started disliking it after Talli and Kesu had that - give me back my engagement ring - conversation there...oh, how can I forget that intolerable scene where Kunnu first met Talli. So now I have mixed feelings about that balcony 😒 Oye did you forget the scene when Kesar gave us a heart attack by proposing Talli on the same balcony on a very same blue night,,,that actually made me cringe at every balcony scene there after Accha by the way, I just loved the way Gullu hid her face in her lap when she was remembering her parents...that was such an adorable gesture!!! Very childlike...again all credit to MP for bringing so much naturalism to the scene!! E lo! Again same pinch..me also loved it..I first thought that she just went shy, but then this is Gulaal...shy why hona toh Vassy kaa kaam. Gullu is toh Gullu...Childlike in one moment and temptress in another😳

Ok, this Poonam looked pretty scary when she was shouting away at Revji!! MANNN...I was expecting an open hair taandav from her...bechaara Revji. Hats off to him though...after such a telling off he still had the guts to eavesdrop on her conversation!!
OMG🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am imagining her tandav and REvji on his knees begging her to sstop...ya truly hats off on his courage and himmat to dare to eavesdrop🤣🤣🤣
