He decided to be away from these things till everything settle down but he didn't know at that time that he was going to get a big shock very soon.
Kesar n Gulaal both spent the day together as kesar took a leave from the office. Gulaal insisted that he should go to office as one mistake could cost them a lot being in such circumstances but in her heart she was afraid also for his life. But kesar was not ready to listen, he had got this opportunity of spending time with his beloved wife (his wife, whom he could call by this title now without any guilt or sad feelings) after so many days. He was really not ready to miss this fantastic opportunity of only them being together n no else between them. They planned to watch a movie together n they both agreed for the movie "Andaaz apna apna" as it was their favourite. But the whole time, gulaal laughed n kesar was in awe watching her like this, watching her being so happy. Their was a certain kind of spark on gulaal's face. Her happiness was making her face glow. Their was a kind of shine in her eyes which was never there before, it was the shine of love, the shine of a new happy n content life. In those moments, kesar really forgot everything n enjoyed being happy with her. Gulaal noticed his gaze on her face n she blushed.
Gulaal: "Kesar tu movie kyun nahi dekh raha"
Kesar smiled slightly n said: "Tujhe movie dekh k khushi mil rahi hai na, main usay dekh raha hoon jisay dekh k mujhay khushi milti hai" n he took her hand in his hand n gently kissed it.
Gulaal was still blushing n said: "Tu bhi na kesar, acha mujhay movie dekhne de"
Kesar had understood what she said but said in a mischievous tone: "Toh dekh na, maine kab roka hai" n he pulled her closer n wrapped her in his arms so that she can watch the movie still being in his arms.
For two more days, gulaal n kesar enjoyed each other's company n lived the best time of their lives, totally surrounded by their immense love for each other n no one to come between them. Soon the other family members also returned n saw the major change in kesar n gulaal's attitude towards each other n their love for each other visible in their eyes. After them coming back, talli also soon returned back to her house but before leaving, she apologized gulaal for all the trouble she caused n the three of them cleared all the misunderstandings. Kesar also apologized to her for joking around n using her company to make gulaal jealous. After the misunderstandings cleared, their happiness increased some more n they happily escorted talli to the airport.
Slowly, one month passed n mota bha n rewa were very satisfied n happy to witness the teasing sessions of gulaal n kesar n to see their care n concern for each other, but paan ba didn't like it at all. She still hated gulaal as she was living with her thought about gulaal's kundli n she still believed that gulaal's luck vl bring only harm for kesar. She didn't want to loose kesar at any cost but little did she know that the people who want to harm them were very near n moreover, they were wearing a mask of relationship, such that no one could have even imagined of doubting them that they were behind all the conspiracies n major harms done to the family.

Kesar: "Gulaal, gulaal... kahan hai tu... gulaal"
Gulaal: "Kesar kya ho gaya, poora ghar ser pe utha liya tu ne, arahi thi na main"
Kesar: "Aray kya karoon tu aik minute bhi dikhayi na de toh mujhay bechaini honay lagti hai" n he encircled his arms around her waist n pulled her close to him.
Gulaal: "Kesar kya kar raha hai, chor na, dekh bohot saaray kaam paray hain"
Kesar: "Kaam toh hotay rehtay hain na, main ne bhi tujhe kaam se bulaya hai" n he looked mischievously into her eyes.
Gulaal: "Tere sab kaam pata hain mujhay, ab janay de mujhay"
Kesar: "No way, aisay toh nahi jaanay dunga"
Gulaal: "Kesar chor na, koi ajayega"
Kesar: "Aane de, after all meri patni hai tu"
Gulaal: "Kesar..." n he slowly brought his face close to hers, gulaal closed her eyes but suddenly he moved closer to her ears n in a loving tone said:
"I love u so much gulaal" n gently kissed her cheek n looked at her mischievously.
The sound of gulaal's laughter was like hearing lots of bells tinkling together. The laughter showed the extent of her happiness that actually knew no bounds. He was really happy n satisfied to see her like that. He was able to see the pain vanishing, which gulaal had been bearing all her life n he was happy that although he was not able to compensate for the losses of her life but atleast he was able to bring back the carefree laughter on her face n infinite happiness in her life. He was happy that finally he was able to break the shackles which gulaal had built around her, n finally gulaal could live a life containing peace. Only the things that bothered him then were the other issues. Someone trying to destroy their business, some people after him to stop him from reopening vasant's murder case, some people continuously trying to destroy their lives. He couldn't let any pain or misery even touch gulaal as he had decided that nothing vl come between her n her happiness now n if anyone even tries to hurt or harm her in any way, he vl have to face kesar first. He was brought back from his thoughts by gulaal's voice:
"Kesar, tu bhi na bas..."
Kesar: "Kya main bhi kya?" n he smiled widely.
Gulaal: "Kuch nahi, ab jane de na"
Kesar: "Nahi pehle tu I love u bol"
Gulaal: "Uffo, acha I love u 1, 2, 3, 4, n bohot saara, ab jaoon main?"
Kesar: "Sochne de..." n he teases her some more.
Gulaal: "Kesarrr..." but suddenly they heard sudha's voice calling gulaal.
Kesar quickly left her n she quickly went towards the door n opened it, just when sudha was about to knock.
Sudha was surprised by this but finally said: "Tu toh ghayab hi ho gayi, who chulhe pe doodh rakha hai, dekh ubal na jaye, mujhay zara kuch kaam hai who kar k aati hoon"
Gulaal: "Ji bhabhi main dekh leti hoon, aap apna kaam kar len" n sudha left.
Gulaal: "Kesar tu tayar ho k neeche aaja, main naashta lagati hoon" n with a smile she left the room.
Kesar also smiled whole-heartedly but suddenly remembered that he didn't ask gulaal the main thing for which he was calling her. He was not able to find his socks. For a moment he thought that he vl ask gulaal afterwards but then he thought:
"Abhi hi pooch leta hoon, phir tayar ho kar hi nashtay k liye jaoon ga" n so he left the room behind gulaal but a voice made his feet glued to the ground. Somebody was talking in a low tone. Kesar followed the voice n reached near the storeroom. The door was slightly open n kesar could half see the person who was talking. He slightly pushed the door some more so he could have a better view of that person as the words, which made him stay back were, "kaarkhana". Sudha was talking on the phone to someone n her conversation was enough to shake the floor beneath kesar's legs.
Sudha: "Bas bhi hogaya ab, jab dekho tab kaarkhana aur badla, aakhir aur kitna intezaar karoon main, mera kya haan? Mere baray men kyun nahi sochtay hen ap? Main kab se yeh sab jhail rahi hoon, uski parwah nahi ap ko? Yeh jhooti baatein aur tasalli kab tak sunoon men !!! bas ab bohot ho gaya, mujhay har haal men raman ka hissa chahiye, in logon k saath ap ko jo karna hai who karte rahiye lekin mera kaam kar dijiye bas !!!"
The person on the other end said anything n sudha continued:
"Han toh kya hua us sab ka? Ap logon ne vasant ko maar toh diya lekin is kesar ko jo zinda chor diya... Kesar aakhir kab tak case se peeche hata rahega? Ap usay jantay nahi hen, woh vasant ka doosra roop hai, wese hi aik baar jo karne ki soch leta hai kar k rehta hai, pata nahi agay woh kya karay... nahi nahi maine kisi ko shak nahi hone diya, aj? Theek hai aj mil k sab baatein kar hi lete hen, main thak gayi hoon is sab se, dekhiye main koshish karoon gi... raat ko 8 bajay? Acha... nahi main pakka nahi bata sakti lekin main koshish karoon gi, ap mujhay jagah batayiye kahan aana hai, acha theek hai main aati hoon kisi bhi tarah, ap jagah bataiye" n she looked here n there to find a piece of paper n pen to write the address n in this her eyes went towards the door also. Kesar was quick enough to hide himself from her, but sudha being as cunning as she were, she felt that somebody was there standing near the door. She told the caller to hold on for a minute n went towards the door.
Sudha opened the door wide n saw that no one was there. She was surprised n felt that something was wrong or how could she feel like this.
Dushyant: "Sudha? Sudha... kya hua bata? Sab theek hai? Sudha??"
Sudha's attention again diverted towards the caller.
Sudha: "Ji bha, woh mujhay laga yahan koi meri baatein sun raha tha... nahi nahi koi nahi hai, pata nahi mujhay aisa kyun laga, acha ap address batayiye"

Here in his room, kesar was shocked. He had managed to had a narrow escape from being caught by sudha n as soon as she started walking towards the door, he ran towards the room taking care for not making any noise n quickly stepped in n closed the door. He was not able to believe that his own sister in law was involved in all this. His bhabhi for whom he could have never thought that she could also be a part of all the scams n plannings to harm the family. He sat on the bed, still not able to believe what he had just heard.
Kesar: "Sudha bhabhi... woh yeh sab... is sab men shamil hen woh" two tears fell from his eyes n he held his head with his one hand: "Mere vasant bha... un k qatilon ko jaanti hen sudha bhabhi, un se mili hui hen... main kaisay maanun yeh sab... kya ho raha hai mujhay kuch samajh nahi araha" his head started spinning n he held his head with both his hands now, just hen he heard gulaal's voice.
Gulaal: "Kesar kitni dair lagata hai tayar... kesar... kya hua tujhe" n she came running to him.
Gulaal: "Kesar kya... acha aik minute" she quickly grabbed a glass of water from the side table n gave it to him: "yeh le, paani pi le, kesar, pani le" n he managed to take few sips from the glass, his mind was thinking that only if he could have got the chance of listening to the name of their meeting place, he thought that now the only way to find out about all this was to follow sudha.
Gulaal: "Kya hua, tu theek toh hai? Bata na daikh mujhay ghabrahat ho rahi hai"
Kesar: "Woh... woh sudha... sudha bhabhi..."
Gulaal: "Kya? Bhabhi? Unhe kya? Kesar yeh..."
Kesar managed to control himself a little as he couldn't tell anything to gulaal as he didn't want her to get worried. With utmost difficulty, she had started to be happy in her life n he didn't want to snatch that happiness away from her.
Kesar: "Nahi mera matlab hai... sudha bhabhi ko bata k ayi hai na tu?"
Gulaal was so surprised with kesar's question. She was surprised as to y in the world could he ask such a thing at this time. She felt that something was terribly wrong but didn't show it to him as he was already very worried.
Gulaal: "Haan woh, matlab woh toh abhi hi neechay ayi theen, main keh k ayi hoon unhe... kesar kya baat hai? Daikh tu mujh se kuch chupa raha hai?" n she looked at him with suspecting eyes.
Kesar controlled himself n pulled a smile on his face: "Nahi gulaal, bas office se phone tha, kuch problem ho gayi hai, mujhay jaldi bulaya hai, isi liye main aikdam pareshan ho gaya tha, tu chinta mat kar, sab theek hai" n he quickly got up to get ready while his eyes now fuming with anger for the people who were behind his family n who killed his vasant bha. Gulaal was lost in the thoughts. She had understood this that something was fishy somewhere, only the need was to now find it out. She didn't insist kesar to tell her the truth, instead she decided to find it out herself. Kesar came back after getting ready n tried to not to meet her eyes as he knew he wouldn't be able to lie in front of gulaal for a long time.
Kesar: "Acha main chalta hoon, tu chinta mat karna haan, acha bye"
Gulaal held his wrist n stopped him.
Gulaal: "Nashta toh kar k jayega na, maine nashta laga diya hai"
Kesar: "Nahi gulaal" n he tried to pass a smile to her: "abhi bohot dair ho rahi hai, main le loon ga na office men kuch, acha ab chalta hoon, phir aa k baat karta hoon , tu khayal rakhna apna" n he went near her n quickly kissed her forehead n before leaving the room, turned around, he didn't know y he was feeling as if something major vl happen in near future. His heartbeat was accelerating, he was really afraid for gulaal, he came near her n hugged her tightly, "Main tujh se bohot pyaar karta hoon gulaal, apna bohot khayal rakhna aur baqi sab ka bhi... main... jaldi ajaoon ga" n finally left the room while gulaal was surprised at his attitude n was now sure that something was absolutely not fine.
TEN !!! (Kesar in his car 9 am):
He was stuck in a traffic jam n was really frustrated. He had to go to meet the commissioner of police as he had finally managed to narrate the whole series of events to him n he had assured him that he would help him in this matter, but when gulaal stopped kesar from being involved in all this, he apologized to the commissioner n said that for some reasons he had to postpone the reopening of the case etc. His phone started ringing.
Kesar: "Commissioner sahab, ji main ne hi call ki thi ap ko, I m really sorry sir per aaj mujhay kuch important pata chala hai is sab k baray men, ji han vasant bha k qatilon tak puhanchana shayad ab hamare liye asaan hoga, ji main bas raaste men hoon, traffic jam men phansa hua hoon, bas jaisay hi traffic clear ho main ata hoon, I m really sorry sir meri wajah se app ko itni pareshani... oh thank u so much sir, main bas jald hi puhanchne ki koshish karta hoon."
NINE !!! (Kesar came out of commissioner's office 11 am):
Gulaal was really worried about kesar. First of all there was something bothering him n secondly, he had not even eaten anything when he left. Her mind was absolutely not at rest, she tried to call him on his cell 2 to 3 times but he didn't receive it. She was having some strange kind of fear as to something bad was going to happen. She was really worried about kesar's well being n started walking to n fro in the room while kesar reached the office n tried to pass the time by getting busy n doing the normal routine work but his mind was continuously waiting for 8 pm.
EIGHT !!! (Kesar left the office at 6:30 pm after completing his work for the day):
Kesar called the commissioner again: "Sir main office se nikal k ab ghar ki taraf jaa raha hoon... ji main ghar k bahar hi wait karoon ga... ji, jaise hi sudha bhabhi niklen gi I vl follow her, nahi sir agar ap logon men se koi peecha karega toh unhe shak ho sakta hai... ji main aisay peecha karoon ga k unhe kuch pata na chalay... ok sir I vl be in contact with u" n he started driving his car towards the home. It was 7 pm when he reached his home n parked his car to some distance so that no one could notice him easily, sudha could leave the house any moment now. At 7:15 pm, his phone started ringing n gulaal's name flashed on the mobile's screen. He gathered his courage n received the call.
Gulaal tried her level best to hide her anxiety n fears n tried to keep her tone calm: "Kesar kahan hai tu ab tak? Itni dair ho gayi, ghar kyun nahi aya?"
Kesar: "Sorry gulaal, thora kaam men stuck ho gaya tha, abhi bhi aik meeting hai toh thori dair ho jayegi mujhay puhanchtay huay, tu kaisi hai?"
Gulaal was missing him so badly: "Main theek hoon kesar, teri bohot yaad arahi hai, jaldi aa ja na, main intezaar kar rahi hoon"
Kesar noticed her sad tone n himself also felt very sad. He was feeling as if something big was going to happen. He felt a shiver run down through his spine as he thought about the plan that he had made with the commissioner.
Kesar: "Main... main jaldi aane ki koshish karoon ga... gulaal... tu theek hai na?" he was having a really strange feeling.
Gulaal: "Main theek hoon kesar, tujhe bohot miss kar rahi hoon, subah bhi jaldi chala gaya tu aur abhi dair se ayega... kesar..." she was feeling very afraid now, "jaldi ayega na tu?"
Kesar: "Haan gulaal, jaldi aoon ga... tu bas apna khayal rakhna, I love u so much"
Two tears dropped from gulaal's eyes as some unknown fear had gripped her mind:
"I love u too kesar, tere bagher nahi reh sakti main, plz jaldi aaja, pata nahi kyun, mujhay bohot dar lag raha hai"
Kesar was also going through the same feelings but still he tried to make gulaal calm down: "Aray main hoon na tere saath, phir kesa dar, bas jaldi aoon ga na main ghar, phir araam se baith k baat karen ge, tu chinta mat kar, acha ghar men sab theek hain na? I mean mota bha, ba, rewa?"
Gulaal: "Haan sab theek hain, mota bha aur paan ba rewa k saath lounge men baith k baat kar rahay thay jab main ooper ayi tujhe call karne, aur raman bha aye thay per thori dair pehle chale gaye, aur haan abhi toh sudha bhabhi bhi apni kisi saheli k yahan jane waali hain, shayad ab tak nikal gayi hon" n just at the same moment, kesar saw sudha coming out from the main gate of the house.
Kesar: "Acha gulaal, client agaye hen, main abhi rakhta hoon,baad men baat karta hoon"
Gulaal: "Jaldi aana kesar, main tera intezaar kar rahi hoon" n he disconnected the call in a hurry as sudha had stopped a taxi n sat in it.
