SEVEN !!! (Kesar followed sudha n reached a far away construction site where the work was in progress):
Sudha came out of the taxi n started to call someone. Kesar quietly came out of the car. He had informed the police about the location n they had told him that they vl reach nearly the same time as kesar vl reach the place. Kesar waited for 5 minutes there n then he called the police.
Kesar: "Sir ap ki team kab ayegi yahan? Is waqt risk nahi liya ja sakta, plz jaldi puhanchiye ap log" n the commissioner assured him that he n his team vl soon reach the place. Kesar waited for 5 more minutes till sudha talked on the phone n then she started heading towards the stairs. Kesar's all senses became alert n in a friction of a second; he decided that they couldn't waste time at such a point. He decided that he couldn't wait for the police anymore now, n he quietly followed sudha n stepped inside the building.
He also headed towards the stairs n followed sudha till the third floor. When he entered the third floor, hiding himself from the people who must be there, he found that sudha had vanished. There was no trace of her anywhere. He kept himself hidden but quietly tried to find her. Infact, there was no sign of any single person there. The whole floor was empty. Kesar felt something is absolutely not right, he quickly started to come down the stairs n as soon as he reached the ground floor n was about to get out of the building, he felt a hard blow on his head. He held his head in his hands n tried to turn around but his vision blurred n he found himself hitting the ground in no time. The last vision he remembered before loosing his senses was a person standing with a rod in his hand n talking on a phone to someone.
SIX !!! (9 pm, the building under construction, basement area):
Kesar heard some voices, some people were talking in a slow tone with each other. He slowly opened his eyes n tried to understand what was happening around him. His head was spinning n he tried his best to get up n sit. He found himself sitting on the ground n the place looked a basement of some sort. He tried to recall what happened to him n slowly he remembered that he was just about to get out of the building when some one hit him on the head. He quickly got up but just then 5 people entered there. Kesar was taken aback as to who were they n what was their intention. He quietly observed them when he heard one voice from the dark area of the basement.
FIVE !!! (9:30 pm, basement area):
"Aao kesar aao, hamari dunya men suagat hai tumhara, mere admi ne zyada zor se toh nahi maar diya tumhe?" n he came forward slowly, finally revealing his identity.
Kesar was shocked to see the person. He was dushyant. Sudha's brother. His father's friend, khemji bhai's nephew.
"Dushyant bha... aap !!"
Just then he saw sudha coming from the same area from where dushyant had arrived. Kesar was speechless to see all this.
"Tujhe kya laga tha kesar, tere ilawa dunya men sab bewakoof hen? tujhe kya laga k tu mera peecha karega aur mujhe kuch pata nahi chalega, hum toh tujhe jaan boojh kar..."
Dushyant: "Aik minute sudha !! zara is ki shakal toh dekh, hairat k maray zaban hi band ho gayi hai is ki, thora sambhalnay toh de isay" n he smiled slightly n continued: "Tu toh bohot samajhdaar hogaya hai kesar... vasant se bhi zyada"
With the mention of vasant's name, anger started to build up in kesar's mind.
Dushyant: "Vasant bechara toh kuch bhi nahi kar paaya aur tu hamare peeche yahan tak aa gaya, hahahaha bohot acha hai, aik aadarsh beta, aadarsh bhai, aadarsh pati... hai na kesar?" he came some what close to him.
Kesar: "Yeh sab ap ne kiya? Ap ne aur sudha bhabhi ne mil k mere vasant bha ko maar daala !!" he clenched his fist in anger.
Dushyant: "Hahaha haan kesar hamare ilawa kisi men itni himmat kahan, main ne maara tere bhai ko, main ne !!! aur tum sab ko barbaad bhi main hi karoon ga !!!"
Kesar was not able to hold his anger anymore. He came forward n suddenly grabbed his collar while dushyant stopped his men from holding kesar by signaling it with his hand: "8 saal... 8 saal se maine apne bha k qatilon ko dhoondne men koi kami nahi chori aur woh aap thay !!! mujhay toh ghin arahi hai yeh soch k bhi !!! Vasant bha ne ap ko apna bhai mana, sudha bhabhi ko apni behen maana !!! kyun kiya yeh sab !!!" his voice was now raised.
Dushyant gently held his hands n freed his collar from his grip n pushed him back n signaled his men to hold him tightly. Kesar struggled his best to let himself be free from there grip but he failed.
Dushyant: "Kyun kiya... acha sawaal hai yeh kesar !!! jo tum logon ne hamare saath kiya, us k baa dab bacha kya tha !!! tum logon ki wajah se hamara ghar barbaad hua, hamara parivaar bikhar gaya, aur tu pooch raha hai kyun kiya !!!" he continued further: "haan yeh sab humne kiya, badla lene k liye kiya !!! tum logon se badla liya humne !!! yaad hai tujhe k mota bha, kedar bhai aur hamare kaka khemji bhai, in sab ne mil kar aik kaarkhana khola tha !!! Mere kaka ne us k liye kitni mehnat ki, kya kuch nahi kiya aur jab karkhaana chalne laga aur kaamyabi ki oonchaiyon ko choone laga, toh kya kiya mota bha aur kedar bhai ne? saara paisa sab kuch khud le liya aur kaka ko kya diya? Bas thora sa hissa !!! jese unhe koi bheek di ja rahi ho !!!"
Kesar: "Kya bakwaas hai yeh !!! khemji kaka ne kaarkhanay ko faida dene k bajaye us k liye nuksaan hi kiya tha !!! unho ne sab kaam men hera pheri kit hi, saaray paisay balkay poora kaarkhana apne naam likhwane jaa rahay thay woh, agar mota bha ko pata nahi chalta toh woh toh..."
Dushyant: "Band karo apni bakwaas !!! kaka ne yeh sab kiya tha jab un k saath nainsafi hote hue dikhayi di unhe !! un ka haq tha k unhe bhi barabar ka hissa diya jata lekin sab mila kedar bhai aur tere mota bha ko !!!"
Kesar: "Aisa kuch nahi tha" his voice raised some more, "yeh toh mota bha aur phupha ji ka ahsaan tha k unho ne khemji kaka ko thora hissa bhi de diya warna unhe toh aik phooti kaudi bhi nahi milna chahiye thi !!!"
Dushyant's anger knew no bounds now, he went to him n punched him hard on his face. His face near his lips started to bleed.
Dushyant: "Ahsaan !!! hum kisi ka ahsaan nahi lete !!! apna haq cheen lete hen !!! aur wohi aaj tak kiya aura gay bhi karen ge hum !!!"
Sudha: "Tujhe pata hai kesar, humne kitna kuch saha hai is sab k liye, maine toh apni zindagi tak daav pe laga di !!! apni poori zindagi raman k naam kardi !!! aur raman k saath kya kiya tum logon ne !!! us k saath bhi wohi nainsaafi !!!"
Kesar was surprised to hear all this.
FOUR !!! (The mystery revealed, 10 pm):
Dushyant: "Hairan hai tu, hahaha theek hai, shuru se batate hen wese bhi ab teri zindagi shayad bohot kam hi bachi hai" n he started to narrate the whole story, "jab kaka k saath yeh sab hua tha, unho ne tay kar liya tha, woh tum logon k parivaar ko barbaad kar denge, maine yeh sab dekha kesar, tu toh us waqt bohot hi chota tha, kaka ne us waqt kisi pe kuch zahir nahi hone diya tha lekin dil men tay kar chukay thay sab !!! kedar bhai ki maut? Who kaarkhanay ko jo bechna para? Who sab toh shayad bhool hi gaya na tu !! haan ... kedar bhai ko bhi humne hi khatam kiya tha, paisay dete waqt bohot natak kar rahay thay woh, bas kar diya unhe khatam humne, aur kaka ne toh kaarkhanay ko ander hi ander deemak ki tarah khatam kar diya aur kisi ko shak bhi nahi hone diya, tum logon ko aisay sastay daamon bechna para usay. Aur vasant... usay sab pata chal chuka tha ... is liye usay bhi jaana para is dunya se, magar us ne jatay jatay hamen phansa diya !!! marne se pehle shadi kar chukka tha woh !!! gulaal se !! us ki property aur sab kuch gulaal k naam ho gaya, aur hamen usay dhoond k yahan tum logon k ghar men laana para !! heraan hai nay eh sab jaan kar... haan jamna kaki aur giga kaka se contact kar k aur unhe dhamkiyan de de gulaal ko us ghar se nikalwaya, hum jaantay thay gulaal kon hai aur jab usay koi sahara nahi milega toh who tum logon k paas hi ayegi... hamara plan kamyaab hua tha kesar !!! woh agayi yahan lekin tu... tu ne us se shadi karli !!! tum logon se tumhara sab uch, saari property hum aasani se cheen sakte thay per vasant ka hissa, woh toh gulaal k naam tha, is ka bhi tareeka soch liya tha, main us se shadi karne wala tha, baad men toh usay marna hi tha lekin..."
Kesar: "Dushyant bha !!! bas bohot ho gaya !!! khabardaar jo gulaal k baray men aisi waisi koi baat ki toh !!!"
Sudha: "Bha isay who kunli waali baat bhi toh bata dijiye na, chalo main hi batati hoon, yaad hai paan ba ko kahin se pata chala tha k gulaal ki kundli men dosh hai, hahaha dosh wosh kuch bhi nahi kesar bas woh bhi hamare plan ka hissa tha, teri aur gulaal ki dosti aur gulaal k liye teri ikar dekh k hamen dar tha lekin hua wohi !!! hamara dar sach sabit hogaya, tu ne us se shadi karli !!! yeh kundli ka natak bhi hum ne hi karwaya tha, sirf is liye k kisi bhi tarah tum dono ki barhti nazdeekiyan khatam kar saken lekin..."
Kesar: "Wah bhabhi wah !! ap ne aik aurat ho k doosri aurat ki zindagi k saath aisay khilwaar kiya, itna bara jhoot, us ki zindagi ka Mazak bana diya aap ne, aap ki himmat kesay hui us ki khushiyon ki taraf dekhne ki bhi !!!!!!"
Dushyant: "Hahaha jazbaati hai tu kesar, bohot jazbaati... everything is fair in love n war aur yeh toh hamari jang hai kesar, hamaray badlay ki jang !!! well, theek hai ab gulaal ki nahi sudha ki baat karte hen ... sudha kese ayegi tum logon k ghar shadi kar k? yeh bhi plan ka hi hissa tha kesar... raman toh shuru se hi bewakoof tha, us se property apne naam karana asaan tha lekin yaheen hamen dhoka hua !!! raman k naam toh property thi hi nahi !!! property toh tere aur vasant k naam thi !!! meri behen is sab k beech faltoo men phans gayi lekin ab kya karte, shadi toh ho chuki thi na, phir bhi mota bha raman k naam kuch kar saktay thay per nahi !!! usay diya bhi toh aik dukaan aur kuch paisay bas aur haan is sab men raman bhi hamare saath hi hai, usay sab pata hai !!!"
Kesar was dumbfounded to know that the person whom he had considered as his brother his whole life, was also involved in all this: "Raman bha bhi... mujhay toh yaqeen nahi ata... aur mota bha ki is sab men koi ghalti nahi hai !!! raman bha jis tarah k hen, un k naam property karne ka risk koi kese lega, un ki harkaten hum se chupi nahi hen... do din men poora paisa luta dete woh... apni shop tak pe toh dhang se kaam nahi kar paate hen... mota bha ya humne kabhi un men aur vasant bha men farq nahi kiya lekin parivaar ki bhalayi k liye hi un k naam zyada kuch..."
Dushyant: "Bas !!! mujhay teri koi baat na toh sunni hai na samajhni hai !!! jab kaarkhanay ki sab baaten baap ji ko pata chalen, unho ne kaka se saaray rishtay tor diye aur hamari masi jo hamare kaki bhi hen, un k dukh men hamari maa is dunya se chali gayi, hamare baap ji ki kya haalat hui un k bagher !!! kaisay bhool jayen hum yeh sab !!! bas ab bakwaas bohot hui !!! Mathur !!! Papers le kar ao !!! jaldi !!!"
N a man who looked like a lawyer came forward n handed the papers to him.
Dushyant: "Yeh le property k papers, jaldi se is pe sign karde, wese hi hamara bohot waqt barbaad ho chuka hai !! chal jaldi kar, aur power of attorney bhi toh tere naam hai toh tera sign kaafi hoga saari property k liye" n he put the papers on the table which was brought by his two men n put in front of kesar. "Chal kesar, jaldi kar"
Kesar: "Aap ka dimagh kharab ho gaya hai kya !!! main aisa kabhi nahi karoonga, kabhi nahi !!! chahay jo bhi ho"
Dushyant: "Hmmm... pata tha mujhay k tu ne yehi kehna hai, theek hai toh tu ne majboor kar diya hamen apne next step k liye... aik surprise hai tere liye..." n he called his men : "Jao le kar ao usay !!!"
THREE !!! (A shock for Kesar, 10:15 pm):
In a few minutes, gulaal was brought inside. Kesar was shocked n was so scared to see gulaal there.
Gulaal: "Kesar ... sudha bhabhi... yeh sab kya..."
Dushyant: "Welcome gulaal, tumhari hi kami thi, woh kya hai na kesar ko apni jaan ki parwah toh hai nahi, lekin tumhari jaan ki parwah toh karega hi... pyaar jo karta hai tumse... kyun kesar?"
Kesar face grew pale: "Gulaal ko haath bhi mat lagana !!! agar usay chua bhi toh main sab ko jaan se maar doon ga !!!"
Dushyant looked at him n then at gulaal: "Ok ok nahi karen ge kuch... lekin aik shart pe... sign karde kesar aur bas phir toh sab theek hojayega..."
Gulaal: "nahi kesar, tu sign mat karna, plz kesar..."
Sudha: "haan toh natak khatam hua gulaal madam ka, jab sab kuch sun hi chuki hai tu toh natak kyun kar rahi thi jaisay kuch nahi pata"
Gulaal: "Sudha bhabhi ap ko kya hogaya hai, ap kyun kar rahi hen yeh sab, hum sab ap ko apna maantay hen, ap hamare parivaar ka hissa hen aur ap..."
Sudha: "Bas kar gulaal ! maine aj tak bohot saha hai per ab aur nahi ! pehle hamare parivaar k sath jo hua woh aur phir mere pati k saath jo nainsaafi hui, woh sab nahi seh sakti main... aur sign toh ab tujhe bhi karne hen gulaal" n she was moved forward to stand beside kesar n papers were brought in front of gulaal also, "le yeh who property hai jo tere naam ho chuki hai lekin ab yeh hamare naam hogi, jaldi sign kar"
Dushyant: "Kesar, gulaal... bas bohot dair ho gayi hai ab, natak sab khatam karo aur chup chaap sign karo warna..."
Kesar: "Warna kya haan !!! warna kya !!! hum sign nahi karen ge, apne baron ki mehnat aisay barbaad nahi hone denge !!!"
Dushyant sighed n said: "Theek hai phir, tum log mujhay majboor kar hi chukay ho toh..." n pulled out a gun from his pocket n pointed it towards them.
Dushyant: "Ab agar kesar ne sign nahi kiya toh yeh goli gulaal ko lagegi, aur gulaal ne sign nahi kiya toh goli kesar k hissay men ayegi !!! faisla tum logon ka hai"
Kesar: "Nahi yeh..." n he had to stop saying anything further as two people came forward n put their guns on kesar n gulaal's temples n by pulling the safety catch, they made their guns ready.
TWO !!! (Arrival of Police):
Kesar: "Theek hai, theek hai main kar raha hoon sign, plz gulaal ko kuch mat karna" n same were the expressions of gulaal. She was also so much scared for kesar's life. They looked at each other n quietly picked up the pens that were put in front of them n kesar signed the papers. Just then they all heard something outside, near the basement. It was a sound like something fell. 3 of his men ran outside while sudha dushyant n his two men were left there. His other 10 men were scattered around the whole building to let dushyant n sudha be safe.
Dushyant to Sudha: "Mujhay lagta hai bahar koi hai, kahin police toh..."
Sudha: "Kya !! bha hamen jaldi karna hoga, jaldi yeh sab khatam kar k nikalte hen yahan se !!! raman bhi intezaar..." when they heard gunshots outside.
Dushyant became alarmed n quickly tried to say: "Tum dono jaldi sign..." n in a friction of a second kesar got hold of the two men standing near them n started hiting them. Dushyant n sudha were shocked to see such a sudden change in events.
Dushyant: "Kesar !!! ruk jao kesar warna main goli chala doon ga !!!"
Sudha: "Bha yeh sab kya ho raha hai, woh, woh papers, she turned to look at the table but papers were in gulaal's hands now which she was about to tear down when sudha tried to snatch them from her n gulaal tried to hold them but finally sudha was able to snatch them from her n pushed her back n ran towards dushyant.
Sudha: "Bha nikalye yahan se, police aa chuki hai, jaldi kijiye, yeh papers dekhiye yeh mere paas, gulaal ka hissa choriye, kesar ne toh kar diya hai sign" n in the mean while kesar was able to nearly knock dushyant's men down as two others have also entered the area till then.
ONE !!! (Final Blow):
Dushyant: "Haan chal, lekin aik aakhri kaam reh gaya" he looked at kesar with hatred. He raised his hand with the gun n pointed it towards kesar, n two gunshots were heard in the room with two shouts...
"Kesarrr"
"Gulaaal"
Gulaal had seen dushyant pointing the gun towards kesar n removing the safety catch. She quickly ran towards kesar n managed to pushed him aside at the right time but unfortunately, the two bullets hit her in the stomach n chest. Everybody in the room was shocked to see all this. Kesar was dumbfounded, he felt as if somebody took his soul away from his body n he shouted gulaal's name. Dushyant n Sudha were trying to escape when an enraged kesar took the gun from a man who was lying near him unconscious. He picked it up, his eyes blood shot with anger n tears, n without thinking for another second, he pulled the trigger n shot all 6 bullets at dushyant. They all hit him n with in a few seconds his body hit the ground. Sudha's screaming was heard n before dying, the last name dushyant said was of sudha. Sudha was not able to bear all this n just when the police entered the basement; she fell on the ground unconscious, while kesar fell on the ground n held gulaal in his arms who was now lying in a pool of blood. The last thing Gulaal heard was kesar screaming her name n crying unconsolably.
